you prefer your new Vatican versions like the ESV, NASB.
First off, I'm not a Catholic.
However, you do know it was the Catholics (Vatican) who were responsible for the development of the New Testament canon?
you prefer your new Vatican versions like the ESV, NASB.
I do 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV and I've no need to study counterfeits when I believe I have the authentic "all scripture".Maybe if you actually studied and used other versions you wouldn't be a Bullingerite.
He was addressing someone else. What's the difference between you and a Catholic?First off, I'm not a Catholic.
Versions like the NIV make it appear as if it's the same, just to different people.
He was addressing someone else.
What's the difference between you and a Catholic?
You just proved the KJV causes confusion.
KJVO's are against studying.
Many things! What's the difference between you and a Catholic?
I made no claim that the NIV was a perfect translation. God is not reduced to a translation,
Hi Bob and Will D. Sirs, when will you tell us the truth about what you really believe?
I study every day and see two in that one verse and many in the Bible as I 1 Corinthians 2:13 KJV.If you would study, you would see it was the same gospel to different people.
The we's and the ye's have certainly helped me see and helped me to make all men see what is the fellowhship of the mystery! I can't do that with many versions.Because your KJVO has confused you so much, maybe the International Children's Version can help you.
Look at where being a bible user has gotten you. :nono: Paul was committed the gospel OF the uncircumcision. He also went to the Jew first and also to the Greek after the hand shake.(Gal 2:7 ICV) But these leaders saw that God had given me special work, just as he had to Peter. God gave Peter the work of telling the Good News to the Jews. But God gave me the work of telling the Good News to the non-Jewish people.
2 Corinthians 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. You somehow think all the people responsible for all the other Bible versions were working in cahoots against your Hyper-Dispensationalism.
I would say that God is not reduced to hundreds of translations contradicting one another...
 That would be refreshing!Hi Bob and Will D. Sirs, when will you tell us the truth about what you really believe?
This is off topic. The question is if the KJV is inerrant. You are proving its the best version. But as long as you admit to errors, even if they are qualified with words like "minor" or "printing" they are still errors.Funny, I pick up my Bible with the attitude that it is God's word and believe it is so before I even read a word of it.
From the book you hold in your hand, what does 2 Timothy 2:15 say? Studying to shew thyself approved unto God is by rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV). Do you even know what that is and how to do it?
The "resources we have available" IS "all scripture" (2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV). God will sort out the "rest of the world" just as He did concerning reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19 KJV).
I would say that God is not reduced to hundreds of translations contradicting one another...
Jesus must have known this would happen
so
why didn't He leave someone to settle all the differences?
I'm aware of the question, but it's not a question for me Psalms 12:6 KJV, Proverbs 30:5 KJV, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV and should not be for a believer. This is off topic. The question is if the KJV is inerrant.
So can I hold an inerrant version of the Bible in my hand or not? Can I trust every word in a KJV Bible? Now you are saying that to be sure we have to check the underlying Hebrew and Greek. We can do that with any version. This is insane, you've said all along I can hold a physical copy of an inerrant Bible in my hand, all while also saying there are errors.I have stated what I honestly believe about these things. The underlying Hebrew and Greek text that forms the textual basis of the King James Bible has NEVER changed one word in over 400 years.
