 Well when you're misinterpreting scripture like Nihilo, you're doomed to think the Church isn't biblical.

Also, the Bible is not the only source of information. It did not magically fall out the sky one day.
It is only even a 'book' out of it being a collection of books crammed as one.

You wouldn't be ~idolizing~ paper now, would you
"Biblical" refers to His word. If it isn't from His mouth it isn't orthodox, you simpering ninny!

Where is it written that everything of God is written?

Nowhere in the Bible does it state that that the Bible is the only thing permissible or true. Sola scriptura is not commanded within it.

Protestants neglect that completely, and dubiously, even though the Church has dropped it on you for a good long time now.

If God had anything to add He would. But for now, anything that contradicts His finished word is unorthodox heresy. And the RCC contradicts His word.

Suppose a homosexual couple goes to a bakery and orders a cake for their wedding. If the baker bakes them a cake knowing that the cake is for the wedding of a homosexual couple, does this mean that the baker is giving approval to their marriage? Does this mean that the baker is celebrating the marriage with the homosexual couple?

It could. It could also mean that he doesn't care if a couple of perverts engage in perverted acts.

There are those for it, there are those against it, and there are apathetic people who just don't care either way. Therefore your question cannot be answered unless we actually know who the baker is.

Why does Jesus reference "it is written" over and over and over?

Because it's written :idunno:

There is no biblical reference implying that the scriptures are the only thing of God.

That's not even what Martin Luther, THE FOUNDER OF SOLA SCRIPTURA, meant for it to be!
He simply went by the notion that the scriptures are all one needs to be righteous- nothing about your SOLO biblical nonsense.

He even included the Apocrypha, but you all went and disposed of all that in your ignorance after he passed and today are hardly even legitimately Protestant in doctrine or theology. There's no way to even describe you all anymore.

:freak: Yall went full retard

Yes, its written and He appeals to the authority of the actual word of God, to show He fulfills what is written showing His authority in a way we can test to be certain.

Keeps false doctrines at bay. Thats WHY it was written.

But then, the authority of Jesus was passed on the apostles, who didn't write everything they taught, but gave it to their successors. It was passed on to the Church, not to individuals- the authority was not meant to rest exclusively in a book.

Hence, the Apostolic Office of the Church. The Pope is the successor of Peter, and this is a virtually unchallenged fact by everybody including the Eastern Orthodox who split and the Anglicans. It's only anti-Catholics who deny that inevitability.

You want the Church spoken of in Matthew 16, the biblical, historical Church? There it is

You can't even see how dangerous and stupid that proposition is, can you.
