# 1. To deny that Jesus is the savior of the whole world is to deny the Gospel, 1 John 2:2. The key to understanding the Gospel is to believe that Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15 and in doing so has reconciled the whole world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:19.
#2. Predestination is a denial of the Gospel. If one has been predestinated then they don't really need Christ or his Gospel. Predestination according to some is a declaration from God that "Some Certain Persons" are saved. If you have been declared to be saved then you don't need Christ or his Gospel.
#3. To say that works, baptism, repentance or anything else that one might do merits salvation is a denial of the Gospel, Romans 3:20. Any religious thing that one does is a work of the law. "By the works of the law no one will be justified in his sight".
#4. To say that one is justified by keeping the commandments is a denial of the Gospel. The Bible teaches that all men are sinners, even saved men, Romans 3:10, "There is NONE righteous, no, not one. All fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23.
#5. To say that men are justified some other way than by the doing and the dying of Jesus is a denial of the Gospel. Jesus is our reconciler, "To declare at this time his righteousness: that he might be just and the justifier of him that believes in Jesus" Romans 3:26. Jesus and Jesus alone is the reconciler and justifier of lost sinners.
To deny the Gospel is to deny that one has faith in Christ and his Gospel. Without faith in Christ and his Gospel no one will be saved. Paul said, "The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation" Romans 1:16. No Gospel, means no salvation. The Gospel makes it possible for us to be justified by faith apart from the works of the law, Galatians 3:10.
