    Eternal suffering is not Literal

Justice is viewed differently from differing perspectives. The loved ones of a cop killer will never see a death penalty as justice. But the loved ones of the cop will. (generalities, to be sure)

    Huge UFO news!

If one is intent on seeing something they believe in, they will make it happen. Talk to the ghost chasers of TV. Or the yeti chasers around the world.

Jesus was the Word made flesh, not the Father made flesh.

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

It is also established in the NT, in Ro 8:13..."For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." Every man must make the choice, live for God or live for self. Only one choice is correct.

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

You bet. Reason would have saved all the saint killed in the Forum by Nero...or who ever. But those saint's loss would be immeasurable.

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

It is justice. So will an eternity in hell/lake of fire be for disobeying God. You get a just punishment or just reward.

    Eternal suffering is not Literal

If you command your child not to go near the pool when nobody is around, but they do, fall in, and drown, is that justice? Yes it is. The parameters were set in place and disobeyed. 1 + 1 = 2, justice.

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

Can an apple seed ever bear onions? Neither can God's seed bear liars or thieves. What "bad" things? Misadding in my checkbook? I re-add it. Spill a drink? I get the sponge and sop it up. Go past my exit on the highway? I go to the next one and circle back. I do no sin since I repented of sin...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

And still, it isn't a "work" that Paul wrote about !!! Circumcision, dietary rules, tithing, feast keeping, Sabbath keeping, etc., are the things that Paul wrote would not enhance our ability to be saved on the last day. No man who does not turn from sin will be saved.

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

You are right. 1 John 3:9 does though. It is written..."Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." So does 1 John 5:18 It is written..."We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of...

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

At least we have that in common. I love those verses, especially verse 13. It is God's promise to not allow us to ever be tempted above what we can resist. He will provide the escape, to His glory.

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

I am so glad I got grafted into the Branch known as Jesus when I was baptized into Him and into His death and burial. (Rom 6:3) And raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Rom 6:4) The result is written of in Rom 6:7. Thanks be to God.

Yet He healed the woman. Just as He heals Gentiles today.

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

Interpretations of scripture often don't agree. It is the fruit of the interpretation that illuminates its source.

    RIP QE2

It is written..."Put them in mind ... To speak evil of no man, ...3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another." (Titus 3:1-3) How about we pray for the queen's son?

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

Some would say that is only addressed to the Jews. Erroneously, of course.
