Who didn't need it? We all needed it.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

If the writer of the OP is correct, and God did force me to be obedient to Him, ie. "believe", I am glad. I hope He will force all the people I pray for everyday to be converted, to believe, too. The idea of Him making me to believe, but not the loved ones in my life, seems rather cruel to me...

The problem with that is your kids are still getting their education from the unclean, instead of from their parents.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

So much for the day of God's judgement...eh? If we don't manisfest our faith in God, we have no faith in God.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

I am adding nothing to Christ. He commanded baptism and repentance. He commanded obedience to God. He commanded us to love God with all of our heart, strength, and might; and our neighbor as ourself. I won't accept a doctrine that repudiates Christ's commands. You are trying to warm your hands...

Tell Peter, who wrote 1 Peter 3:21.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

As that is not in the bible, I completely dismiss such an errant notion of men. In fact, there are several other things that are written of in the bible that "save us". Among them, faith, grace, the word, and water baptism. Thanks. As salvation won't be assured until the day of judgement, it...

climate change is a religion and unfalsifiable

Yep, get your mind off of God and onto the physical world you can't control. "Woe is us", they wail.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

I might be able to make my questions easier. Already happened, thanks to the grace and mercy of God....if you mean "converted" when you write "saved". I will say "I am saved" AFTER the day of judgement.

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

That is good to know, as I feel that all of the word of God applies to all men. I guess you could have perceived that as an accusation, but it wasn't meant that way. It was more of a general observation, made to you. Interesting take. Correct, but the country if Israel in not the "Kingdom" of...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

There's the "rub". I am not trying to repay Christ's redeeming work on my/our behalf. I am being obedient to Him and His apostles. Without that obedience, I will be considered as dead as the worst murderer on the last day. You are correct. But His having done them, don't you think we should...

Has the Church Replaced Israel ?

The times of separation from certain men by the Jews is over. We can now count all men as our brothers in Christ. The only ones who still separate themselves from Gentiles, or any other subset of men, are the Israelites who still hold to the OT Law of Moses and the traditions of men. As we were...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

We'll continue to disagree on that. If I had not heard, believed, repented of sin, and gotten water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of past sins, I never would be counted as a convert. Or received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Or been entered into the book of life. Or been...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

You should have skipped down to verses 21 and 22 to see the NT ..."But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:..." (Rom...

Thank you. Your intrusion, while usually welcomed, was bereft of the context of Mark M and my discussion.
