The Gospel of the Kingdom and the plot twist.

You say the apostles served only Israelites and didn't serve Gentiles, but the data I dug up shows most of them died in foreign, non-Jewish lands. Solemn agreement? Did they sign it with blood? Do you really think the original apostles refused to talk to Gentile believers after Acts 11? Didn't...

Yes, the converts of the land had yet to be called Christians. Paul's conversion is in Acts 9 and the converted were first called Christians in Acts 11. I don't figure anyone came to Jesus without God's grace being involved, no matter what they were called.

Thanks be to God that Jesus took some "side trips" on His way to the "House of Israel". It really showed His love for anyone having faith.

Any idea where the apostle Philip was killed? Turkey. Nathaniel? India. Simon? Persia. Thomas? India. Peter? Rome. Matthew? Ethiopia. Matthias? Georgia. Bartholomew? Armenia. James the less? Egypt. They did go unto the known world to spread the good news.

I disagree. Jesus' teachings have circled the globe.

Rough guess...1 %. Just a shot in the light, as who knows how many in the throngs that followed Him were from other lands.

I hope you don't think Jesus committed a sin by going outside His main intended audience. Simon was from Canaan. Now the Gentiles can't? I prefer to consider the Israeli believers as brothers in Christ, and the Gentiles are one with them. The unbelieving Israelis are just a country.

So what was mistranslated? What difference is there between "all" and "all kinds of"?

I can understand your fear of the answer. We can proceed without it.

I thought he was baptized by Ananias at Damascus. Ananias certainly didn't become a Christian without God's grace. I am sure glad I am not in the flesh anymore. But so too are the Israeli believers.

Good example. And as it was not a contradiction, so too Romans' and James' discussion of works are not contradictions.

They are different things. James' words are about the works/deeds that illustrate our/their conversion. Paul's words were about the lack of the Mosaic Law's work's necessity for conversion. I agree that they are of different concerns. Paul's works are "of the Law", and James' works are the...

    May I ask...

I hope that now you see that James is talking about post conversion "good deeds" and Paul is talking about the works of the Law...circumcision and dietary rules for instance. (James)...We can say we have faith all day, but if we are not willing to help those in need, that faith is a sham. Faith...

Paul heard, believed, was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of past sins, received the gift of the Holy Ghost, forsook sin, spoke in tongues, witnessed to others, and tried to endure faithfully until his end. That is how I follow Paul, who followed Christ. Am I already a...

The Gospel of the Kingdom and the plot twist.

Faith can move mountains, and it moved the Lord to help one of the non-Israelites. He didn't wait for Paul to meet her. God sent Peter to the Roman Cornelius before Paul. Philip ministered to the Ethiopian and the Samarians before Paul. Peter and John followed shortly afterwards. Jesus was not a...

Equal? Mercy, love, and grace, were equally distributed in this case. Like Jesus said in John 10:16..."And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." Jesus knew He was coming to more than...
