Paul baptized him:

"I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius" (1 Cor.1:14).

Then how do you explain Paul's words at 1 Corinthians 1:14?

Please point out the water in 1 Corinthians 1:14.

When you beg the question that there was water there, you inherently exclude the possibility that they were not baptised with water, but rather with the Holy Spirit.

So you are saying that Paul was baptizing others with the Holy Spirit?

What evidence can you give that demonstrates that is true?

Hi Jerry , have you ever READ 1 Cor 1:14 , and than read Acts 18:6-8 and THAN tell us how Crispus was BAPTIZED ?
#1 Was Paul in the SAME room when Crispus was BAPTIZED ?

#2 , Better read verse 7 , and who was the one having DEPARTED ?

#3 Who DEPARTED , Crispus OR Paul ?

The reason that Paul could NEVER BAPTIZE , Lest anyone should say that I HAD BAPTIZED FOR MY NAME !

In the Greek the word MY / is EMPHATIC , i could not BAPTIZE anyone one !

In Matt 28:19 , a formula was used , to baptize in the name of the FATHER , THE SON and by the HOLY SPIRIT !

In Acts , they baptized in the name of THE LORD JESUS , Acts 19:5 !!!!!!!!!!

Dan, the following words of Paul indicate that he baptized both Crispus and Gaius:

"I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius" (1 Cor.1:14).

Do you not know what the word "except" means?

Hi Jerry and you never explain 1 Cor 1:15 Lest anyone should say that I had BAPTIZED for my NAME .

#1 , The Greek word ANY / TIS is a pronoun in the NOMINATIVE CASE , and is the SUBJECT of that word ANYONE should say I had BAPTIZED !

#2 FOR MINE / EMOS is in the ACCUSATIVE CASE is the DIRECT OBJECT , that Paul did not BAPTIZE , Lest anyone should say , I BAPTIZED !

#3 And NAME / ONOMA is also in the ACCUSATIVE CASE , Lest anyone should say I BAPTIZED !

Just check BLUE LETTER BIBLE and see !!

Dan, are you still arguing that Paul baptized no one even though he said the following?:

"I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius" (1 Cor.1:14).

Why is it so important to you to believe that Paul baptized no one?

Paul wouldn't and couldn't refer to the one baptism of Eph 4 as something he himself had done.

Hi and if you are referring to Eph 4:5 One Lord , one FAITH and ONE BAPTISM , the Greek word here is not BAPTIZO / BAPTISM as the Greek text is nthe Greek word BAPTIMA !!

BAPTISMA means a BAPTIZER and in Acts 19:4 as the first BAPTIZED /IS BAPTIZO and the second Greek word in verse 4 is BAPTISM / is really BAPTISMA , so check the Greek text and see !!

The Greek word BAPTISMA is used 22x from Matthew--- Ephesian !!

Hi Gerry because the TEXT SAYS SO !! And you NEVER have answered 1 Cor 1:15 as Jews were baptized in the name of the LORD JESUS and not in the NAME OF PAUL , that is why !!

Dan, the text doesn't say that Paul baptized no one:

"I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius" (1 Cor.1:14).

Do you know what the word "except"means? Evidently not!

Get a dictionary and perhaps you will finally understand that Paul did in fact baptize believers.

Yes, and it is evident that the only one who performs the one baptism is the Holy Spirit:

"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit" (1 Cor.12:13).

Hi Jerry and you have NOT explained Acts 18 :7 and 8 and are AVOIDING THEM ?

Who baptized CRISPUS in verse 8 ?

Hi Jerry and you have NOT explained Acts 18 :7 and 8 and are AVOIDING THEM ?

No, I am not avoiding them. There is no use to go to those verses since you continue to insist that Paul baptized no one despite his own words to the contrary:

"I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius" (1 Cor.1:14).

If you cannot understand those simple words there is no use talking about any other verses with you.

Hi Jerry and have NOT seen where Paul Baptized min the NAME OF THE FATHER , THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT !!

Peter in Acts 2:38 says for Israel to be BAPTIZED in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST !

Or , in Acts 19:5 in the NAME OF THE LORD JESUS !!

Jerry , in Matt 28:19 what are they to teach all NATIONS ,/ ETHNOS , SO who are these NATIONS , Jerry ??

Dan, are you still arguning that Paul didn't baptize anyone? Even with His own following words which proves that he did baptize some:

Hi Jerry is because you will answer 1 Cor 1:15 NOR can you explain Acts 19:4 and what does " then they were BAPTIZED " with a BAPTISM of John ?

And in verse Acts 19 : 5 they were BAPTIZED in the NAME of the LORD JESUS , and that is the FORMULA used to baptize Jews !

And in verse 6 HOW WERE THEY BAPTIZED , ,Jerry , do you see WATER / HUDOR here at ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, Jerry ??

I write for those who cann see that Paul NEVER WATER BAPTIZED as Paul was NAVER A BAPTISMA , that is why I write , LEST some one like you say I baptized in my NAME !
