Well I can't force you not to think of the situation in Iran solely in terms of Trump's popularity or oil prices in the US. But it does seem a bit ironic to me that that is what you are doing. Apparently, you don't seem to think so.

Iran weren't posing a nuclear threat at all so that's moot. According to Trump, their nuclear potential had been obliterated so why did he start this war - that's now been going on for over half a year?
