The thing you need to realize about the impeachments is that it was known that they were political statements only. Everyone knew going into it that the Republicans were not going to vote to convict the politician that still had a stranglehold on their party at that point. They were only done to make a statement to say that the opposition tried to oust Trump, but failed. It was more for the sake of the history books than anything else.
As far as Russiagate goes, along with the Mueller Investigation and January 6th, there are still a few surprises left for you....
