High Gas Prices? Putin and Trump Did That!

What is really driving up gasoline costs? War? Increasing or decreasing demands? Greed? Shortages? Surpluses? Surely there are real factors that can be verified by facts. Here is what one report reads:

Industry insiders have laid the blame for rising energy costs at the feet of President Joe Biden, citing increased regulations.

“High gas prices are the direct result of supply and demand,” said Daniel Turner, executive director of the energy workers advocacy group, Power the Future. “The Biden administration made the supply the direct target of their assaults from the very first moments after his inauguration when he targeted the Keystone Pipeline. Since then, multiple regulations on fracking and land use, a weaponized EPA and Department of Interior, have all punished the production of fossil fuels. As a result, oil, gas, and coal, have all doubled in price.”

Biden's actions have caused Putin to reap windfall profits from his carbon energy exports.

I just hope 10% is going to the big guy. 😁
There is a strong temptation to believe Obama shut down American coal to benefit foreign Muslim oil producers in payback for his all-expense-paid years at Harvard, new multimillion-dollar home in Chicago, and entry into politics.

Trump did not shut down American pipelines and help open up Russian pipelines. Biden did that.

Which has no effect on the current increase in the price of oil. Trump and Putin did that.

No, that's not how it works, Spanky. It works like this: Putin's invasion of Ukraine was essentially a decree that gas prices--and thus prices for everything else--would be raised worldwide.
no .
why would you even think that ?

all the sanctions against russia have only helped russia
and hurt all the countries that sanctioned russia
nobody made those countries sanction russia

Rouble hits fresh highs against dollar, euro

Ukraine is a major oil producer. So is Russia. Wars that involve major oil producers always cause oil prices to go up. War in general, when it involves major players, causes oil prices to go up. Is any of this common sense getting through to you, Spanky? I didn't think so.

Idiots think gas prices were steady or maybe falling under Biden until Russia invaded Ukraine. They believe that nonsense because they are idiots.

Wars in Afghanistan, Syria, and other middle eastern oil-producing nations did not keep Trump from overseeing the lowest gas prices in decades. However, I do agree that wars, bad weather, cow farts, interest hikes, falling stocks, bad roads, out-of-control illegal immigration, and a thousand other factors under Biden can be partly blamed for gas prices skyrocketing with Biden having no clue how to get them to come back down.
