Any new impeachment proceedings would be flat out unconstitutional

Sorry, but in this context, it refers solely to political view.

It doesn't matter the context, Chair.

It means what it means. You don't get to redefine it simply because of the context.

Not to being "correct" or "on the right side of the body"

A wise man’s heart is at his right hand, But a fool’s heart at his left. - Ecclesiastes 10:2 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ecclesiastes10:2&version=NKJV

Isaiah (inspired by God) seems to have tied both of those definitions together.

It is not wise to be a racist.
It is not wise to be a fascist.
It is not wise to be evil.

Thus, such things are foolish, and therefore "on the left."

Don't put the cart before the horse: the political spectrum uses the idiom of using right or left, not the other way around.

or any other of the definitions of the word, which include such things as:
  • a privilege given stockholders to subscribe pro rata to a new issue of securities generally below market price
  • the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled

Obviously.

and so on- you can find a dictionary

You of course, being on the political right, think that you are correct. But the political left thinks they are correct too.

You missed it:

if someone is politically "right," that means they are more right than wrong (generally speaking) It doesn't make them right all the time, but it does put them righter than most.

In other words, what I think has nothing to do with it.

At the risk of being banned: Your word game is stupid demagoguery- and I think you know it full well.

In what way am I appealing to the desires and prejudices of ordinary people rather than by using rational argument?

I'm explaining, rationally, how "political right" cannot include things like racism, neo-nazism, fascism, etc, that some on here, you included, want to categorize them as.

You think I'm being irrational?

Then reason it out. Show my why and how I'm being irrational. Don't just assert it.

It means different things in different contexts. Like many other words. Like the dictionary says. Welcome to the English language. Do you need examples? Break, Crane, Play, Left, Scale...

Seriously- do you think Socialists think of them selves as left, not right -because they think they are incorrect?!!

You weaken your argument when you resort to such foolishness.

Of course not. They reinterpret their understanding of right vs left so they don't have to think of themselves as incorrect or evil. They reinterpret their understanding to a point where they say Nazis were right-wing!

Guys- go check the word "right" in a dictionary.
It seems like many of you missed out on some basic information in elementary school.

You act as if words don't change meaning over time. "Conception" used to mean from fertilization, now it means from implantation. If I use the word "conception" meaning from fertilization, you should understand from the context.

Likewise, even if you didn't understand before, you should understand now that we use the word "right" to mean following God as an absolute. In fact, you could say, as a nutshell definition, that people on the right believe in absolutes and people on the left don't. Or in other words, people on the right believe in absolute morality and people on the left believe in relative morality.

This definition is much better as it is consistent and doesn't lead to silly things like saying a leftist government like the Nazis is on the right.

I think you simply don't want to understand.
Extremists invade the Capitol. Extremists have riots in Portland. Extremists support those actions.
No. It's not me who doesn't want to understand. Its you who likes to be very vague so you can argue both sides against the middle. That is very plain.

People who support rioting? That's all on the left. Rioting went for months and not a Democrat said a word i condemnation. Only when they realized they had alienated not only the conservatives but also the independents did they ever say a word in condemnation of rioting. Same with you leftists here. Not a word of condemnation.

From everything I've seen from videos about the Capitol building being trashed the people responsible for starting it were on the left. The timeline shows that there were people breaking in before Trump ever stopped speaking. Trump supporters are business owners, middle aged people, and retired people. But those aren't the people doing the breaking in. I personally know a lot of Trump supporters and not a one of us agreed with that break in. We all thought it was stupid, but we all figured it was the left setting we Trump supporters up to take the blame. We've seen your actions for decades and the kinds of deceit with which the left operates. There isn't an honest bone in their socialist bodies. Socialism depends on misrepresentation and lying to gain power. As if they actually said what they are all about they would be rejected by everyone right from the start.

There isn't a single conservative that hasn't condemned the Capitol break in. It was immediate and overwhelming, unlike the Democrat's/socialist's response this summer. They actually urged it on for months. Democrat mayors were urging the rioting and the takeovers of parts of their cities. And national socialist, i.e. Democrat leaders did the same.

Your faux outrage is just that, faux. There's not a thing real about it.

Apparently, almost nobody these days knows about the "false flag operation".

Well, the second impeachment has already happened although it doesn't really mean so much in itself.

You're quite "right" in all of these exchanges regarding 'right' and 'left' in terms of political context. Being to the right or left on the spectrum has absolutely nothing to do with being correct or wrong regardless. The origins of the terms in politics extend back to the houses of parliament in France following the revolution in relation to seating arrangements. Riveting stuff...
