3. What is the last thing you bought at the store?

Four Chrysanthemum plants

4. What is the last movie you watched?

"Raise (Heck): The Life & Times of Molly Ivins"

5. What was your first car?

1955 Chevrolet

Nutritionally balanced.

This Turned Out To Be A Lot More Interesting Than I Expected

9. What is on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?

1. What was the last thing you said to another human being?
Proud of how well you did on the spelling test, Jack. (a moment ago)

2. What is the last thing you said to your pet?
 What's up, Buttercup?

3. What is the last thing you bought at the store?
Gatorade Flow Kiwi/Strawberry and a couple of Suddenly Pastas. About an hour ago.

4. What is the last movie you watched?
The third John Wick, which I think is the second best of the trilogy...a lot of fun, but as with the Iron Man series, you can't beat the origin story.

5. What was your first car?
A 911 Carrera, until my father saw me driving it...then I got a tank wrapped around me. A beautifully preserved 69 Thunderbird. He thought the gas cost and all that steel would keep me safe. He didn't really pay attention to what was under the hood. A 429...beautiful black leather interior, amazing sound system and I could fit the whole gang in it. But I still missed the Porsche. Man.

6. If you had to eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Our local restaurant has a buffet and every Thursday it's the same thing (when I'm not teaching): unbelievably good meatloaf, mashed potatoes as thick as a Scottish brogue, cooked cabbage, fried squash (cut and fried thin) and fried okra, fried chicken (a keel breast), greens, and fresh cornbread. I wash it down with sweet iced tea, which is the only truly Southern way to prepare it. Dessert? They have several homemade desserts to choose from, but I like the chocolate brownie pan cake, served almost hot and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

7. What would the title of your autobiography be?
Dinner and a Show.

8. What was your favorite childhood cartoon?
I loved the old Rocky and Bullwinkle, syndicated show.

9. What is on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?
Except for the lowest shelf it's a condiment holder. Mustards, ketchup, sauces of various kinds.

10. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself as a kid?
Go with your gut. You'll be amazed where it leads you.

1. What was the last thing you said to another human being?

Was chatting with a Love's Travel Center employee about broken things on truck driver's trucks. Then when I was done fueling, we said farewell and I departed.

2. What is the last thing you said to your pet?

"I'll see you later" to my cat, Truffles.

That was Monday morning.

3. What is the last thing you bought at the store?

Do truck stops count? Diesel, though with a company card, and M&Ms, Flavor Blasted Goldfish crackers, two Monster energy drinks, and Chicken Alfredo from the Pizza Hut express in the truck stop store (a different one than the one I was just at where I got the diesel).

4. What is the last movie you watched?

I honestly don't remember.

5. What was your first car?

My 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata that my dad gave me when I moved out of their house.

It's my only vehicle, currently.

6. If you had to eat one meal everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?

One meal? or one food?

One meal: whatever I wanted to that would last me the whole day.

One food (assuming I wouldn't get sick of it or tired of it): Sushi

7. What would the title of your autobiography be?

I'm too lazy to do an autobiography. And no, that's not a title.

8. What was your favorite childhood cartoon?

Samurai Jack, hands down.

9. What is on the top shelf of your refrigerator door?

Of the door? nothing but air. I don't keep things on top of doors. Someone could get hurt.

I completely misread that.

Top shelf in the door of my refridgerator? Cream cheese and butter.

10. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself as a kid?

Get married sooner.

I said meal, not feast. :chuckle:
