I wonder if you could tell me.....
which wines go better with what?

I had a really nice Siraz with some grilled salmon the other day and although I know it's meant to go, more so, with red meat, they complimented each other very well. So tell me what would go better with a grilled salmon?

And how 'bout....
other fish (grilled white)
Italian Marinara
Italian white sauce
Steak
Chicken

And I'm particularly fond of Pinot Noir so what foods would this one compliment? I also love White Zinfindel which I mostly drink as a casual wine... not necesarrily with any particular kind of food but I'd certainly be open to any suggestions you would have as far as what it should be accompanied with.

Actually I am sort of a wine dork.

Really the only wine I like is cheap Sangria.

I wish I knew alot about wine, but I admit.... I have no clue. :)
