This verse is speaking of The Gift of Tongues, which actually is still in operation today.

That's not what The Word of God says:
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: but all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
These gifts are given to ALL. He works them, but we have them. Just because you don't believe these gifts are given to us or available to us doesn't mean they aren't. God said that they are, so they are.
You are using your imagination again, which is not good. God's Word is misunderstood by you, and you've followed the wrong spirit. It's a spirit of 'holier-than-thou' which is an enemy of God. I hate that spirit. So does God.

Gifts. Or gift. The Holy Spirit doesn't work all the gifts in any one person. He works different gifts in each person. All nine gifts only show up in the revelations of Jesus Christ.

The 'imaginary' part I was speaking of is where you stated that The Gifts of The Holy spirit only show up in the 'revelations' of Jesus Christ. Your posts are NOT revelations of anything other than your misunderstanding of The Word of God.
The gifts of The Holy Spirit are not physical. They don't sit in your back pocket or fit in a box. They are manifestations of God's Power, given as He wills. I've been used in several, sometimes more than one at the same time. No one 'has' these gifts. They are The Holy Spirit operating through someone, giving them His knowledge or unction.

No, He doesn't. He gives them severally, as He wills. If He decides to make use of someone in all nine gifts and does so, what is that to you? Will you try to stop Him?
Your lack of understanding is showing again. His Gifts are not in operation in His Written Word. There is life in His Word, but His Gifts are to believers and are Him operating through believers. The nine gifts are listed in His Word but they don't operate in simply reading Scripture and your 'revelations' as I've said many times, are merely your mis-understanding of His Word. You are deceived if you believe that God has given you special revelation that He hasn't given anyone else. You need to be taught, but since you think you cannot be taught then you cannot, because as a man thinks in his heart: so is he.

No. How does the above refute what I wrote to you about His Gifts? It doesn't. You don't understand His Gifts because NONE of them have ever been in operation in your life. You have no clue about the things that you're speaking of. You should know things before you post on TOL pretending to know something. You know nothing about the Gifts of The Holy Spirit. In fact, you know very little about Christianity that is actually correct. You need to go to Sunday School and learn the basics.
