Actually, God preached the gospel to Abraham, is that the gospel you are referring to?

There is only one Gospel. It is the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

"And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, 'In you all the nations shall be blessed. So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.'" (Paul)

You can repent until the cows come home. That is not going to save you.

That is not what Jesus says.

Jesus says repent or perish.

Just because you fail doesn't mean all will fail, and it surely doesn't mean you can do away with the truth.

You have to start by believing Jesus, Robert.

Jesus said, "Be perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect" How are you doing with that one?

It appears that you are trying to be justified by the law. The law will not justify. The law will damn you to hell. If you have to be told to love God, you don't.

Jesus is the Christ and he taught the new law.

It is the law of Christ; see 1 Corinthians 9:21, and Galatians 6:2.

The Bible says, "There is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10. You are trying to become acceptable to God in your flesh.

There is none who are righteous and have not ever sinned.

You don't know that scriptures well enough.

Paul was explaining how ALL have sinned and fall short, he was explaining about how Jews are sinners too like the Gentiles.

That doesn't mean we do not have to repent of those sins.

Repentance happens when the Holy Spirit convicts you that all your beliefs are founded in lies. You can't atone for one single sin only believe that they are all forgiven in Christ.

The Holy Spirit does not convict people who repent of their sins.
