Uh oh...thought you said no OT law was brought into the NT...

“Of these four requirements listed by James, two were directly from the law of Moses and two were logical interpretations of the law of Moses added by the Jewish rabbis to guard the Torah. They all pertained specifically to Gentiles living in Israel:

abstain from food polluted by idols - Leviticus 17:8-9 "Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD--that man must be cut off from his people.'" (To guard carefully against idolatry, this command was interpreted by the Jews to prohibit eating any meat that had been offered in a prohibited manner. In Rev. 2:14, 20 the words of Jesus show agreement with that interpretation.)

from sexual immorality - Leviticus 18:6-26 lists a wide range of sexually immoral activities and ends with, 'The native-born and the aliens living among you must not do any of these detestable things,'

from the meat of strangled animals - Leviticus 17:13,15 "'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,
"'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean." (These were interpreted by the Jews to prohibit eating the meat of strangled animals.)

and from blood - Leviticus 17:10 "'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood--I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people."

Rather than canceling or withdrawing these Old Testament regulations, James and the apostles actually extended the scope of these regulations by applying them to Gentile believers living outside the land of Israel.”

https://www.psalm11918.org/Articles...ciples-of-Jesus-Stop-Keeping-the-OT-Laws.html

So there ya go...

And BTW these four prohibitions were chosen for gentiles in order that they be able to crowd synagogues every Sabbath to hear more of the One crucified and to hear the Torah read to them so as to why He was killed and what it meant...

Acts 24:14 “But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.”

Nothing there about the Law being abolished...

I have never said that none of the laws in the old testament were brought over to the new testament. I have always told everyone that Jesus brought over some of them and made them part of the new testament.
But Jesus is the only one who has that right.

lol You have a wild imagination. Read it for yourself. What I am saying is the rules for the thief are different than for us.

[Heb 9:16-18
16 For where there [is] a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament [is] in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
18 Therefore not even the first [covenant] was dedicated without blood.

Ok so what were the rules for the theif? And what are the rules for us? How are they different and why are they different?
I am asking for you to explain because I obviously don't know and that is why I am asking you. So if you can explain
And answer those questions I'd appreciate it

No wonder I am dizzy trying to follow you...

Only some of the OT was brought over? The Law was abolished you claim but then you add that some of them were brought over...

Bet I know which one you claim was not:

xxThe Sabbath is one of the ten commandments that doesnt show up in the new testament as a command. So whether one keeps it or not is ok, as long as he is fully persuaded in his own mind. But its not worth argueing over. And anyone can apoint any day they want to as their Sabbath.
The new testament doesnt speak of which day of the week is the Sabbath.

Despite it being the ONLY commandment given specific instructions that prayers would be said that this commandment would be kept in the future times of trouble...

He also modeled it and instructed we do as He did...and then He signed and sealed the NT covenent thus no later changes allowed... ok?

Sneaky squeaky and his whatever whenever

And his do as I say not as I do...

They are different because at that time the new testament wasn't in affect. But after Jesus death the new testament was in affect. The difference is in the Holy Ghost. The thief didn't have the Holy Ghost. But we are to find the Holy Ghost and learn from Him. The thief didn't have a chance to learn from the Holy Ghost. But we must learn from the Holy Ghost.

His death signed and sealed the deal...is why after He died His disciples hurried to observe Sabbath according to the commandment...as did Paul...and Peter even kept from eating unclean meats...

And me in the meat understanding talking over your head all the time. When you read my stuff you get a strong feeling inside yourself and a voice saying no. That is your devil. Think about it, you cant even call yourself a Christian. You can only say your an "other". You have so many unclean spirits in you that you cant even see the truth. You don't have the Word of God abiding in you. Their using you to fight against the Word of God. With no more than your own opinion. Which is coming from your devil. Your devil has blinded you, with carnal logic.

But you wish to read into it that all the laws (PLURAL not just one)but all were changed and not merely TRANSFERRED to be administered by a New Priest...

If your uncircumcised heart wishes to insist in its rebellion...so be it...

but it states there was annulment of ONE commandment SINGULAR...and its weaknes was because the priest was mortal...not Immortal like the Priest is now...and that Eternal Priest now officiates over that Eternal Law HE authored...

“Here are they that keep...and the faith OF...”

Change of ONE law...of who is priest...not plural...NOT the 10 etc..

Faith Without Works -Is No Salvation

[Heb 6:1-3
1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary [principles] of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this we will do if God permits.
[Jas 3:13
13 Who [is] wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct [that] his works [are done] in the meekness of wisdom.
... 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
[Jas 2:21-24, 26
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.
24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
[Jas 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues [in it], and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
[Tit 1:10-11
10 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,
11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.

xxx You cant get out of the milk understanding without works. If you dont believe in works your abiding in the milk. And you are falling short of salvation. Salvation must be worked for.

[Phl 2:12-16
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for [His] good pleasure.
14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,
15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

Everyone who receives the GIFT of eternal life, the GIFT of salvation did not work to earn it.

God who gave His only begotten son,Jesus Christ, paid the price.

We are recipients of the gift.

Until you open up that gift and use it, works, it remains dormant and virtually useless.

It says work OUT your salvation. It is already yours and it is within you.

Until you work at using the gift you will not see benefits in this life

xxThere are so many ways that one can be disqualified, and disciples dont know it. A disciple is a student or beginner in Christianity. Now because someone who has fallen from grace or fallen short or been disqualifed doesnt know it them selves. It is easy for them to lead a disciple down the wrong path. When God has turned a person over to a reprobate mind, the person doesnt have the spiritual knowledge to discern it, and they become the blind leading the blind. Also a hypocrite doesnt know he is a hypocrite. The only evidence of any of this is having less verses now than you had a year ago. Because a christians growth, is in their growing in the Spirit, or in the idea that their still teaching the same thing today that they taught a year ago, if their on the same message. Where is their growth? This is the way to check yourself.

Heb 10:38-39

2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day;
7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Rom 11:19-22
19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in."
20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

Heb 2:1-3

1 Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.
2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward,
3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
