No, it is not.

You have no support RD. It is exactly that in John. You might have half a case in the synoptics, but that is only because John does not mention the kingdom which distracts from the fact of the type of kingdom that is arriving. But as I have shown in Matt, the 'first half' of ministry (before the Conf/Trans) is not void of Christ's death. There is the early stuff, and then there is the sign of Jonah.

But the disciples SUPPRESS/DENY that. You can't suppress without already knowing, because that thing you suppress is what you are scared of. Peter was scared, right to the garden when he drew his dagger.

John 20:6-9 (AKJV/PCE)
(20:6) Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, (20:7) And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. (20:8) Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. (20:9) For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

Yes, but the question was not their comprehension. it was whether it had been taught, explained. it was. You guys are trying to play the 'who knew what and when?' game so that your two program theology will survive. To know something does not mean to simply have heard the facts. it means to shatter previous conceptions with the new facts. They had not done THAT yet to the zealot Judaism which wanted a restored Israel as such.

More amateur psychology. I will just believe the passage. It is simple enough.

You don't obey everything that Jesus said while he was on earth. You HYPOCRITE!

I obey all the commands that Jesus gave to everyone.

You just don't know what those things are.

Since there are somethings that Jesus said and you cannot do, you think you do not have to do ANYTHING.

Now that is beyond absurd.

Jesus came to earth and gave guidelines, rules and regulations for the NEW COVENANT, and then he shed his blood on the cross for new covenant.

There is scripture where Jesus asks for a donkey and her colt.

Since you cannot obey that, do you still have to humble yourself as a little child and repent?

You are wrong and silly.

But... ONCE AGAIN.... YOUR perfect obedience will NOT EARN YOU SALVATION.

Salvation is a GIFT of GOD.

Eph 2:4-10 (AKJV/PCE)
(2:4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (2:5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) (2:6) And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: (2:7) That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: (2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast. (2:10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You are on your way to the lake of fire, because you are self-righteous.

...not of yourselves means we cannot clean/sanctify ourselves, as the Jews USED TO have to do.

We still have to obey Jesus, we just don't have to get circumcised anymore.

Do you really think Jesus came to earth, said all those things he said, and then wiped it all away?

You are beyond wrong and silly.

God gives the gift to all those he chooses to give the gift, and he tells us who he chooses and why.

He chooses those who get his teachings and obeys them.

See John 14:23, and Acts 5:32, and many more.

So you really do not understand what a GIFT is? WOW.

You're trying to PAY God for His GIFT. You are lost.

You ALWAYS give scripture about those UNDER the law, including the LORD Jesus Christ.

You do not understand ANYTHING about what God is doing today.

Jesus came only for those who ALREADY belonged to God.

They were God's and now they had to go through Jesus to remain God's.

Jesus said when he is crucified, then all can come to him to be saved, even the Jews who were cut off.

There was a new covenant that was made and now everyone everywhere have to go through the blood he shed on the cross.
