What does this above sentence mean? What is a "Paradice earth?"
It is the Garden of Eden
regained. Adam may have disobeyed and detoured Jehovah's purpose temporarily, but Jesus died so that we could take up where Adam left off. It was God's plan for humans to live on Earth forever, and that plan will be fulfilled. (Isaiah 45:18)
The Scriptures give us wonderful images of what it will be like on the paradise earth.
"Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse. [A descendant of David's father Jesse will rise up.] And a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD [YHWH] will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD [YHWH]. And he will delight in the fear of the LORD, and he will not judge by what his eyes see, nor make a decision by what his ears hear; but
with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; and he will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Also righteousness will be the belt about his loins, and faithfulness the belt about his waist.
"And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy will lead them....They will not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain, for
the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea." (Isaiah 11:1-9, NASB)
"They will build houses and inhabit them; they will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit....They will not labor in vain, or bear children for calamity; for they are the offspring of those blessed by the LORD, and their descendants with them." (Isaiah 65:21,23, NASB)
"And no resident will say, 'I am sick'; The people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity." (Isaiah 33:24, NASB)
"Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabah." (Isaiah 35:6)
There are many more references to the paradise earth. Also, this is what Jesus was referring to when he told the thief that he would be in Paradise.
