Importance of Obedience - Law vs Faith

The Sabbath Day that says no works is just a teaching tool about being saved by no works through Jesus.

No works does NOT mean NO OBEY. No works means we do not have to do the purification/ceremonial works.

A NO WORK rule was in place for the Sabbath day. Faith and NO WORKS save us; however, Jesus says it is UNLAWFUL to do evil on the NO WORK day of the Sabbath, and Jesus said it was LAWFUL to do good on the NO WORK day of the Sabbath, see Luke 6:9.

That PROVES that we STILL HAVE TO OBEY JESUS AND DO RIGHT AND ABSTAIN FROM EVIL.

It is not wrong to do good when you want Jesus to save you! It is not wrong to abstain from sin when you want Jesus to save you!

For people to misconstrue that no work means we do not have to repent from doing evil before Jesus saves us is absurd. Jesus tells us to believe and repent, Matthew 4:17.

We do not have to work at cleaning ourselves by having a priest sacrifice a lamb every day, etc.

We still have to obey Jesus! We just do not have to clean ourselves just to worship God.

We are reconciled to God and BECOME THE TEMPLE OF HIM, of His Holy Spirit.

I hope that you can keep agreeing with me about this Jonah.
We are to be obedient.

....... I understand. He is what casts the shadow.....

Right, Jesus cast the shadow, but since he has come, we no longer are to follow shadows, we are only to obey Jesus.

All were bound to disobedience. All the Jews who did not have faith when Jesus came---they were cut off and bound over to disobedience, right where the Gentiles were.

God does not favor anyone anymore according to whom they are blood related. God does not want anyone anymore to get circumcised in the flesh, observe special days, and sacrifice animals.

God wants all to come to Him by the blood of Jesus and be cleaned by faith that Jesus' blood cleans you of the sins you repent of doing. The Holy Spirit circumcises our hearts when we are saved.

Circumcision of the flesh is now worthless. Being cleaned by the blood of animals is now wrong. Jesus is the Sacrificial Lamb of God, and it only his blood that matters now.

Yes. We are to still obey Jesus. The old law was about earthy man. The new law is about what is spiritual.

We have to find Jesus' teachings in the New Testament and obey them.

God nailed the purification/ceremonial works to the cross.

We no longer have to clean ourselves by getting circumcised, and observing special days, but we still have to obey Jesus' teachings.

Galatians 5:11 Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.

Colossians 2:14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.

Ephesians 2:15
by abolishing in His flesh the law of commandments and decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace

If a person wanted to be able to be called a child of God, and go to the temple to worship God, to take part in the Passover, and the other ceremonies---they had to be circumcised in the flesh. They had to adhere to a dietary law. They had to do various external washings. They had to offer the blood of animals. They had to make themselves clean by doing those works to clean themselves.

The Gentiles were called the UN clean people who were dead in their sins because they did not do those things to clean themselves.

Now NO ONE HAS TO DO THOSE THINGS SINCE JESUS.

NOT ALL JEWS who obeyed the law had faith in God.

A person could obey the law but not have faith.

Don't you understand that?

You could obey rituals as commanded by someone, but not really love that person or have faith in that person.

Faith makes the difference.

The old law was NOT based on faith, but the new law is.

There are two different kinds of Jews.

There were Jews who obeyed the rituals, AND also had faith in God; and there were Jews who obeyed the rituals but did NOT have faith in God.

WE ARE SAVED BY FAITH IN JESUS WITH OBEDIENCE.

Before Jesus came, God cut off and hardened the Jews who did not have faith in Him before Jesus came.

See, a Jew could sin, give a sin offering, but not really be sorry for their sins!

They were still called a child of God because they were BLOOD RELATED to Abraham, and because they obeyed the rituals, the ceremonial laws.

However, the Jews who would sin, give a sin offering, and were sorry for their sins---those are the people who ALREADY BELONGED TO GOD BY FAITH.

Jesus came FIRST for those Jews. They are called the lost sheep of Israel. AFTER JESUS was crucified, then all could come to Jesus to have salvation.

God cut off and hardened the Jews when Jesus was on the earth, because there was a new covenant going to be made, and those Jews who already belonged to God by faith had to go through Jesus. They were God's, but now they had to go through Jesus to remain God's. Jesus said he would not lose one that God gave him.

Luke 19:42 and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes.
Luke 8:10
He said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, "'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.'

John 12:40
"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn--and I would heal them."

Romans 11:8
as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day."
Matthew 13:14
In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

Mark 4:12 so that, "'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'"

Mark 8:17And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why do you discuss the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet see or understand? Do you have a hardened heart? 18"HAVING EYES, DO YOU NOT SEE? AND HAVING EARS, DO YOU NOT HEAR? And do you not remember,

Jesus said that when he was lifted up, crucified, then ALL MEN COULD COME TO HIM TO BE SAVED.

John 12:32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself."

Romans 11:23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

There are no more people called Jews who have a special standing with God.

ALL were bound over to disobedience.

There is no more differences in Jews and Gentiles.

Romans 11:32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Children not born of human descent is about it no longer being about blood relations to Abraham.

Blood relations to Abraham mattered until Jesus came.

God promised Abraham that the Savior would be blood related to him.

Now the only blood that matters us our coming to God through the blood of Jesus.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

What does Jesus tell us to do to get to the Father?

Jesus tells us to be humble, to believe, to repent, to call on him for help.

It's totally literal

The mysteries of God's kingdom of heaven is not in one line slogans. It is interconnected in all KJV N.T. revelations. The KJV N.T. is literally, one homogeneous amalgam that must be grasped, all at once, as one complete (not contradicting) truth. It must be intuitively discerned:

1 Corinthians: 15 KJV N.T.
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Now, (since 2000 odd years ago) the Lord is that Spirit, i.e. the Spirit, 'not seen' and eternal Son of God Lord Jesus. The Lord is not the physical, 'seen' and temporal son of man Jesus:

2 Corinthians: 3 King James Version (KJV)
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The Jesus who died on the cross is not lord. He was a man from earth, earthly.

1 Corinthians: 15 KJV N.T.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy

1 Corinthians: 15 KJV N.T.
47 the second man is the Lord from heaven

Be charitable. Stop misleading innocent aspiring Christians with false corrupt ideas and beliefs. A billion strong traditional Christians are not esteeming and worshiping the Lord who is the Spirit, 'not seen' and eternal, Son of God, Jesus. Instead they are esteeming and worshiping the physical, 'seen' and temporal, son of man Jesus who is not lord.

Please . . . don't you want to help them?

2 Corinthians: 3 King James Version (KJV)
17 Now (since 2000 odd years ago) the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

The billion strong traditional Christians are called to be Christians. However they are misled. They err and are not chosen, because they do not know:

Romans: 8 KJV N.T.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Matthew: 22 King James Version (KJV)
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Act: 13 KJV N.T.
39 And by him all that believe (Christians/Believers) are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

However many are called but few chosen because the very great majority fear esteeming and practicing their God given freedom, liberty and justification to transgress Moses' law so that they can serve freely in the newness of spirit/love. Therefore they bring forth only fruits onto death and no fruits onto God:

Romans: 7 KJV N.T.
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Fear is the absence of God

1 John: 4 King James Version (KJV)
08 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love/God.

Fact is, when fear prevents couples from practicing their Christian God given freedom, liberty and justification to transgress Moses law so as to unconditionally obey love, then such couples bring forth only fruits onto God. Then they and theirs do not inherit God's kingdom of heaven:

Matthews: 21 KJV N.T.
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof (i.e. fruits onto God).

It is on the basis of the above that on judgment day, the King, Jesus say:

- to one set: Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world (these are the chosen).

- And to another set: Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (these are the 'not chosen')

Fact is, on your judgment day, in order for Jesus to say to you: "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world", you have to had esteemed and actually practiced your God given freedom, liberty and justification to transgress Moses law so as to have served in the newness of spirit/love. This is only way that you would have brought forth only fruits onto God and so now be entitled to inherit God's kingdom of heaven.

Simple lip service does not count. Simply parroting that you are not under Moses law counts for nothing. That only makes for closet esteem-ers, users and promoters of Moses law.

The shadow still carries importance and significance. It still carries the outline of what cast it. If you cast a shadow and someone notices it, it still has your shape and features. So it is with Messiah; He is the Law in the flesh, so of course His actions flesh out the outline the Law is intended to be. He celebrated the Sabbath. So should we.

Keeping the law after the reality has come is a stumbling block and a sign of unbelief.

He was very clearly discussing the idea that any justification came by the Law-we cannot claim this is about the Law since God told Israel keeping the commands wasn't too difficult. Deuteronomy 30:11

Anyone who has ever made a honest effort at keeping the law knows that it is a giant burden on one's back just like the story of faithful pilgrim. The burden didn't fall away until he came to the cross as is so with every Christian today.
