Drunk doesnt excuse action, for either.
Didn't say it did. :idunno:

Sure. But the difference is that 'personal responsibility and accountability' for the girl means they can't do something that is perfectly legal. Something that guys don't have to stop doing. For guys it just means they have to not rape a girl. One of these things is not like the other.
Didn't say it did. :idunno:
no
for guys it means they have to stop seeing women as sexual playthings
that starts long before the rape occurs

It isn't fair.Sounded to me like you said its not fair that a chick cant get stoned faced drunk and pass out without worrying about being raped.
:idunno: Maybe.I think it more likely that a drunk stoned faced guy who had sex with an equally stoned faced drunk chick after she said yes, will face rape charges today - and even if he wins, will suffer for it the rest of his life.

i demand recognition that my evil, vicious monster of a wife often raped me when i was incapacitated because of ingestion of alcohol and thus was unable to consent! :sibbie: |
It isnt about fair, either are complete morons to drink so much they pass out or dont know what they are doing.
Sure they are. But girls are still the ones that are told to do this or that so they aren't raped.
I suppose the flip side is that guys could be told to not get drunk and have consensual sex because of fears that girls could scream 'rape' afterwards, but that doesn't come up very often.
Because it's a double standard. Women are advised to act a certain way because some guys are scumbags.And.. that is bad, why?
Who used that term?Telling someone how to be safe is 'misogyny'. Is there anything that is not..
Most of the women here who seem to not get it here, are much older than female college students. In fact they are older than i am, and i get it, i don't understand why they don't.
Individual responsibility and accountability for ones own actions should be apparent by life experience at all.
I have mixed feelings on this. On the one hand, I agree with you that the 'feminist' view has taken things too far. It shouldn't be out of bounds to talk to girls about proper and safe behavior. "Don't get pass-out drunk at a party" shouldn't be offensive. It's common sense. And like TomO said in another post, if girls are taught that they can do nothing wrong then girls will keep putting themselves in bad situations and will continue to be victims.
On the other hand, why are you telling that to the girls instead of the guys? Because girls have to worry about getting raped. How terrible is that? Why should girls have to change their behavior to accommodate creeps who might rape them? Why can't a girl have 'fun' at a party and pass out like guys can with no worry about being raped? Why put a higher standard on girls because some guys can't control themselves? And that's where a slippery slope can start. Instead of telling girls not to get drunk at parties because they might be raped why not guys not to get drunk at parties because they might rape a girl? I can certainly understand that frustration.
You should talk to somebody if you continue to feel like a turnip.
Go back to school since you clearly can't read.
right
God says that women who play the harlot, who act like whores are to be executed
they're getting off easy by being raped :idunno:
so go to a rape counseling center and start shooting :idunno:
does a drunk guy who decides to play matador with the semis on the interstate deserve* to get smooshed like a bug?
* has he earned by his actions the consequences of those actions?
Jesus says that you can do whatever you want to, that you can act like a whore, get drunk and play with the semis on the interstate and no harm will come to you and if it does, you're not to blame
at least, that's what Jesus says if you're retarded
stop being retarded

Approximately 17.7 million American women have been victims of attempted or completed rape. [and that is not counting man/children]

No, God does NOT say that some people deserve to be raped. On the contrary:
"But if in the field the man finds the girl who is engaged, and the man forces her and lies with her [rapes her in today's term], then only the man who lies with her shall die. 26"But you shall do nothing to the girl; there is no sin in the girl worthy of death, for just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, so is this case. 27"When he found her in the field, the engaged girl cried out, but there was no one to save her," (Deut. 22:25-27).
Now, if some want to believe that RAPE is DESERVED there is nothing anyone can do about it.
