A decent man would be saddened by the choices, but that's the nature of our political machinery these days.
I didn't vote on the issue of abortion because a republican dominated court had already had its say on the point and established the law. I voted for a cheerleader and against naysayers who had as the second seat someone I wouldn't elect as mayor, let alone seat a breath from the Oval Office. Both men believed in abortion. Both were and are wrong on the point.
