I am going to do as Paul taught and follow Jesus !

The 4 Gospels have everything a person needs to get saved and follow Jesus .The Apostles teachings , all of them, ALL point to Jesus.

What was the Ascended Lord Jesus Christ's reason/purpose for meeting Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus?"

Saul was out there trying to basically "destroy" Christ's message to the House of Israel. Those twelve were ONLY preaching that message to the House of Israel not to the Gentiles.

Saul was in opposition to Christ and His message to the House of Israel. The twelve were not in opposition. So, logically speaking, why would Christ choose somebody who was opposed to Him? (Christ) Christ chose the Twelve and they were more than willing to follow Him. Why didn't He choose another willing participant?

The fact is, He chose Saul, who later became Paul to be the Apostle to the Gentiles. The Gentiles were never given the Law nor were under the Law. They knew nothing about the beliefs of the House of Israel. Paul delivered another message to them specifically. He preached, faith in Christ alone without the Law involved and without any works to earn eternal life. Whereas, Peter and the rest were preaching, faith in Christ, plus works. Therein lies the difference between the two messages. The Grace Gospel to the Gentiles and the Kingdom Message to the House of Israel. Today, in this "Dispensation of the Grace of God" as Paul calls it, both Jew and Gentile are saved through faith in Christ without works or the Law being involved.

The Kingdom message is all about a time when Christ will return to earth and set up His earthly Kingdom, ruling over His people Israel and all the while sitting on the Throne of David. That's what the Kingdom message (Gospel) was all about.

The Gospel of the Grace of God is about spending eternity in Heaven and being part of the Body of Christ (The Church) When a member of the Body of Christ leaves this world they automatically go to be with Christ in Heaven. Christ is seated at the right hand of God the Father now.

The Body of Christ consists of both Jew and Gentile. Christ has an appointed day when He will return to earth and set up His Kingdom for a thousand years. Satan will be bound/ineffective while Christ rules.

Revelation 20:12 states: "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." John was allowed to see this Judgement taking place. This verse speaks of the "Unsaved." They will be judged according to their works and considering their names aren't written in The Lamb's Book of Life, they will be cast into The Lake of Fire for eternity. Satan, the False Prophet, the Beast and the Fallen Angels will be cast into that same Lake of Fire. The Saved will stand before Christ as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:10 "For we must all appear before the judgment-seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." There will be NO condemnation or punishment at this judgment. It's only for rewards or the loss of rewards while in the flesh.

Why didn't the Ascended Christ, visit Peter and the rest of the Apostles with the message He gave to Saul of Tarsus?

Jesus Christ spent forty days with his apostles after his resurrection. Jesus' message might have come up during those forty days.

Today, we need only hear the Gospel of the Grace of God and place ALL our faith in Christ. That's the simplicity of the Gospel. No works/deeds, water baptism, following the Law, speaking in Tongues, etc. Just simple child-like faith.

The house of Israel is Jesus' house, it's where he lives.
