Calvinism is another Gospel. It is not the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5, nor is it the Gospel that reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19. There is only one Gospel that saves and justifies and Calvinism is not it.
Paul wrote to the Galatians, "I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another Gospel, which is not another; but there be some that trouble you and would pervert the Gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you than what we have preached let him be accursed" Galatians 1:6-8.
Calvinism like all other false religions is self defeating. It requires you to believe things about God and his Son Jesus Christ that are false and blasphemous. To believe that God predestinates people to hell before they are born means that God is an unjust villain. To believe that Jesus only atoned for some sins but not all sins is blasphemy.
Christians are justified by faith. They are justified by faith in God's promises and his righteousness. In the Old Testament people were saved and justified by God's promise of a savior. They looked forward to seeing the Messiah, today we look back. We are saved and justified just like they were, by faith, Romans 5:1.
In the Gospel, Jesus comes into the world as God's new Adam and our representative. All that Jesus is and all that Jesus did was for our salvation and our justification. By his righteous sinless life he fulfills all of the demands of God's Holy Law. By his death on the cross he atones for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. In doing this Jesus has reconciled us and the whole world unto God. "We are complete in him" Colossians 2:10.
"And having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile ALL THINGS unto himself, by him, I say, whether there be things in the earth, or things in heaven. And you that were sometimes alienated in your mind by wicked works, yet now has he reconciled, Colossians 1:20, 21.
This is not something that God is going to do in the future. This is a past historical event. We have ALREADY been reconciled to God by his Son Jesus Christ. This makes Calvinism worthless. Salvation has ALREADY been provided for everyone by Jesus Christ, Hebrews 2:9. This is why salvation is by grace through faith. We enter into this reconciliation with God by believing in his Son Jesus Christ. It is a free gift from God, Ephesians 2:8.
