Who Are God's Elect People?

How about this scripture?

"For God so loved the WORLD, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16.

Now tell Jesus that is not valid.

Now tell me that John 3:18 is also NOT about election: Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This verse refers to HIS choice pre-earth, not what happens on earth by our choice. Jesus said this too, right?

I was a non-believer until I converted and was reborn...my status did not change from condemned already to not condemned as good seed are not reborn tares and sheep are not reborn goats. Tares and goats are condemned already and good seed and His sheep are in His flock (elect ) but then went astray into sin to be redeemed by rebirth and sanctification and BROUGHT BACK TO their first free will decision to be in HIS flock, one of HIS elect, hoping to become HIS bride.

You have misinterpreted Romans 8:30.

God by the Holy Spirit calls everyone to come to Christ, Some believe, some don't.

Jesus is the savior of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. All were predestinated to be saved by Christ. Those that were called and believed were justified and will be glorified.

This fits with other scriptures in the Bible. There is no conflict with other scriptures.

30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

No, I don't think so. Just read the verse. To get your interpretation from it you have to add all kinds of stuff.

If all are called by the Holy Spirit [your claim] then all are glorified.
If all are predestinated to be saved [your claim] then all are glorified.

That scripture is fine, its your personal comments that are invalid.

Yep! Salvation is limited to believers. The rest are already condemned.

Ahhh, Robert, you accept that we live or die by our free will decisions here on earth - so what is the problem with us living (becoming elect to heaven) in response to our using our free will to choose to accept YHWH's deity or dying (being passed over for election) in response to our using our free will to choose to eternally reject HIM as our GOD, before the foundation of the world?

You act as if election must refer only to an arbitrary eeny meeny decision but it cannot be like that as you know. So it had to be based upon our choice and so we had to be there to choose. Pretty simple.

The big advantage is that GOD did not create us sinners by making us human in Adam, [the verse is wrongly interpreted], we chose to be sinners and HE put us into Adam so that His one death could cover all the sinful elect.

No one can chose to be a sinner, no more than one can chose to be righteous. We became sinners because our first father sinned and brought sin and death upon us, Romans 5:12.

If you believe that God condemns people to hell before they are born, then you must believe that God is an unjust, unmerciful, unrighteous tyrant.

God does condemned people before they are born, the vessels of wrath, when they are born God fits them for destruction.

Promoting salvation by works, by what a person does, therefore denying the Saving death of Christ.

Salvation by grace through faith is not salvation by works. Get it right. As Patrick Jane said in another thread, Israel is the elect of God!

Not at all - I believe that we lived in Sheol before we were born and in that place some chose to reject for all eternity HIS deity and HIS promise of salvation as found in HIS Son...so HE consigned them to their self chosen fate. Then all sinners are sent to earth so the sinful elect could be redeemed.

If not then you must believe that HE created HIS bride as evil and as corrupt as the worst demon and who had to be reborn before HE could marry her with absolutely no logical reason for HIM to create us this way. HE did not create Adam and Eve this way - why believe HE created the rest of HIS Bride this way...the mind boggles. You accept salvation by our free will but reject our becoming evil by our free will???

GOD is perfectly holy, that is, HE doesn't change, HE has no need for evil, and hates it. Why create us evil in Adam and not innocent? We should all quit paying lip service to HIS holiness and really believe it!

You accept we are saved by our free will acceptance of the gospel here on earth (though we are enslaved to sin and we are living predetermined lives) BUT you will not accept that we could have chosen to accept Christ as our saviour and YHWH as our creator GOD by our free will in Sheol pre-earth becoming HIS elect???
