What...

what are you talking about? "Death panels"?

Oh, I get it. You don't ever want to be taken seriously by other people.

hey, go try that worthless Ridicule the other Side nonsense with someone else. I'm onto it. It goes like this

liberal hears something he doesn't want to believe but doesn't have a good reason not to believe, so he resorts to ridicule of the messenger.

You can't talk about "death panels" like they're a real thing in one post, then call someone else "sophomoric" in another. Well, you can, but it looks silly.

this would be true if it weren't for the fact that the death panels are REAL

and only those who excuse everything the crazy liberals do would say otherwise

you may be the first 1 to be put to death (oh, excuse me: allowed to die) under such "laws"

May they all go to hell and burn in torture for eternity.

I have heard a lot of criticism against the R party

what I don't like is that they often do not fight hard enough against really bad Dem ideas.

But they did all vote against Obamacare,

Except when the Heritage Foundation and Mitt Romney were for it.

Boehner is rather hard to figure out sometimes.

He's weak. Wants to do right, but fears the whackos in his party. Every now and then it boils over:

Boehner Blasts Tea Party Groups Over Budget Deal Criticism
For two days running, Boehner, R-Ohio, has made clear that he's heard just about enough from conservative advocacy groups such as the Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity and Freedomworks.

On Wednesday, he called them "ridiculous." On Thursday, he said "they've lost all credibility."

Often he seems like a Republican, but sometimes like a RINO

"RINO" meaning "a republican who puts America first."

When did i ever say that all Rs are perfect?

But I know you lefties are into putting conservatives down and thereby distracting them. That doesn't work with me, but keep making yourself look ignorant.. your choice

:rotfl: Lefties! now that is funny. Trust me lady, I am to the right of you. If you consider the Republican party, and it's leadership to be conservative you are the one that is a leftie. The republicans sold out their conservative base a long, long, time ago and they have absolutely no intention of giving any position of power to a constitutional conservative...ie. they want your vote and you will give it to them without question. I personally am done with the whole vote for the "lesser of two evils" philosophy, if the republicans don't want conservatives in the party than I will write one in on election day but, I sure as hell won't be giving that vote to a Bush, a Romney, or any other establishment RINO, they can lose again for all I care, they certainly have shown they have one agenda, and it is not what the voters put them in office for.

Not only were there no "death panels" in the Affordable care act, the provision that Palin claimed were for death panels, were first proposed by a republican, and were in the bill at his urging:

Furthermore, proposals to offer reimbursement for such counseling have attracted bipartisan support. Republican Sen. Johnny Isakson of Georgia, a sponsor of one such measure, gave an interview to the Washington Post on August 10, in which he discussed the benefits of these counseling sessions "both for the sanity of the family and what savings the family has." Isakson also commented on the recent confusion around the issue:

Isakson, Aug. 10: I just had a phone call where someone said Sarah Palin’s web site had talked about the House bill having death panels on it where people would be euthanized. How someone could take an end of life directive or a living will as that is nuts. You’re putting the authority in the individual rather than the government. I don’t know how that got so mixed up.

http://www.factcheck.org/2009/08/palin-vs-obama-death-panels/

In another irony, Palin was actually operating a de facto death panel in her own state:

Palin's Death Panels in Alaska:
In one 2 1/2 year stretch, 227 adults already getting services died while waiting for a nurse to reassess their needs. Another 27 died waiting for their initial assessment, to see if they qualified for help.

Anchorage Daily News July, 2009

Ultimately, there were so many complaints by doctors over the way Palin's people were simply refusing to move on these cases, the federal government had to step in and operate the program.

I don't get what you mean.

I think socialism totally or more or less totally nullifies capitalism
Socialism and capitalism can make for comfortable bedfellows.

Our utilities, our police and fire, our libraries, our highways, our military are ALL based on a socialist model.

2009 Lie of the Year

The Original "Pants On Fire" Rating for "Death Panels"

We've looked at the inflammatory claims that the health care bill encourages euthanasia. It doesn't. There's certainly no "death board" that determines the worthiness of individuals to receive care. Conservatives might make a case that Palin is justified in fearing that the current reform could one day morph into such a board.

But that's not what Palin said. She said that the Democratic plan will ration care and "my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care." Palin's statement sounds more like a science fiction movie ( Soylent Green , anyone?) than part of an actual bill before Congress. We rate her statement Pants on Fire!

But they did all vote against Obamacare, so I sometimes wonder why they are overly criticized by those in their own party

I feel McCain is a rino and a few others. anyway, I am wondering what others think

:(

Conservatism, for the most part follows God's precepts.

Rinos like to compromise, but compromising with liberals is just stupid.

Liberals want to cut both your legs off, so rinos compromise and let liberals cut one of your legs off.

Rinos are losers

We don't need them compromising with evil

Death panels exist in all forms and all countries with socialized medicine. It is called that because people are told to wait or will not be covered. Death and taxes....never fail.

what is most wrong with the Republican party?

can't win without the religious wacko vote
And the racist, homophobe, and xenophobe vote. And the paranoia vote. And the ignoramus vote …

The real problem with being the party of the rich is that there aren't many rich people. So you can't win elections by being honest about yourself. You have to lie, and cheat, if you want to win.

What's wrong w/ the R party is what is wrong with humanity in general:

We don't know a good thing when we see it (Cruz/Carson)

And even when we get a suspicion that we are seeing this good thing, we are easily dissuaded into thinking it is not such a good thing

by losers, aka liberals who LIE, LIE, LIE

and people just tend to believe lies

I'm sorry, but that is the truth vis a vis human nature: that people would usually rather hear lies than the truth
