What about a 2012 Ford Fiesta with a manual transmission? Anyone here have a manual transmission car?

I bought my first car when I was 18, and I got a manual transmission so I'd know how to use one. I drove that car for years, but the next car and every car after was automatic. I know how to drive one, I just don't want to ever again.

That 8100 International truck has a nine speed manual. The clutch is a bear to push!

I was always awed by a female relative of mine who could - and did - drive big trucks. She can do anything.

I once had a 65 Vet. The car I have now, my kids will want me to sell. I do not want to sell it because it has very little use, but as i would like leaving it n Florida no one but me can drive it well. They all went to automatics for so long now, they cannot safely drive a manual transmission,

Yes, how is that going? You mentioned you will be getting a new car showing up in your driveway soon and you were asking which car you should get. Do you know yet?

I'll tell you what I want. Very little automation. No "sync" with portable devices of any sort. Put a receptacle in it to play an iPod. Put a handle on the trunk or rear hatch. Put lifting hydraulic struts in it, not an electric motor. It needs a key. A transmitter in the key is ok.
