ECT Warnings

Warnings are meant to be heard and obeyed, if not contrary to one's faith. Warnings are acts of mercy. If heed can save one's life; or stay retribution. Pharaoh the king of Egypt, received his last warning from God, before the death of his firstborn son. Had he heeded the warning he could, have spared the life of his son; but his heart was harden because of the power and majesty of our God, whom he would not acknowledge. We to have been warned of God, in fact our last warning is giving in revelation 14:6-12. Like pharaoh, we are to acknowledge God in obedience to his law and to worship him on his holy Sabbath day, revelation 14:7. For the seventh day Sabbath is our token, and our sign of allegiance to God. Our neglect of this duty is as harden our hearts to God, like pharaoh did. Our life is at stake!

This thread should be moved to the religion section.

But to answer we live in the Sabbath age, we do not work for salvation, we receive it as a gift. Christ appeared among us at the end six thousand years, the end of the sixth day. We live in the seventh day.

If you keep the law concerning Sabbath, you must keep the entire law or be damned.

We live in the "but now" where the righteousness of God without the law is manifested.

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Have you the righteousness of God upon you?

Warnings are acts of mercy.
Our salvation was an "act of mercy" according to God's mercy by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Titus 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Are you saved?

Salvation is through faith in Jesus atoning death and mediation alone. How is faith made perfect? Through works James 2:22. God requires our obedience like he required it of Adam and Eve in Eden. If we think we have no part to play in this salvation thing than your dead wrong. Christ himself said if you love me keep my commandment

You better get a handle on who James was talking to (James 1:1 KJV). that's not you or me (Ephesians 2:11-12 KJV)!

God requires our obedience like he required it of Adam and Eve in Eden. If we think we have no part to play in this salvation thing than your dead wrong.
What God required for the wages of sin is death and Christ took the payoff in our stead (Romans 3:23 KJV, Romans 5:12 KJV, Romans 4:25 KJV, Romans 6:23 KJV, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV, 2 Corinthians 5:19-21 KJV)
Christ himself said if you love me keep my commandment
He never said that to you or me (Matthew 15:24 KJV, Romans 15:8 KJV).

You can be saved right now by trusting the Lord believing His faith and finished work is sufficient to save you (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV).

made perfect by Christ, not by any works from any other man, ever.
it was imputed unto him for righteousness.

Works are not doing religious mumbo jumbo... how selfish to you think God wants us to be?

Interesting thread.

Paul was certainly concerned about his fellow human beings, as we should be.

Colossians 1:27-29

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

We teach how to receive the gift of salvation

Romans 10:9-10

then as we can we help them come to the knowledge of the truth.

NOT MANY WISE MEN NOW ARE CALLED

WHO HERE CAN COMPARE THEMSELVES TO GOD.

See you in the Kingdom.
God is calling all men today to be saved by the gospel!

1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Trust the Lord after hearing and believing the gospel of Christ and it will be the gospel by which you are saved (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV)!

You teach a false gospel of "Faith without obedience saves." LOL

Trust in God and do not obey is not a scripture anywhere in the Bible.

What ignorance. You would rather think that there are different gospels within the Apostles before you would believe the truth that you misunderstand Paul.

Paul is saying faith alone without the ceremonial works. Paul is not saying faith alone without obedience to Jesus' teachings!.

Yes, Jesus' warns us for our own good.

People can fall away from Jesus see Galatians 5:4; 1 Corinthians 10:12; 2 Peter 3:17. We are warned not to drift away, Hebrews 2:1, not to draw back, Hebrews 10:38; to hold on and stand firm, Hebrews 3:14, 1 Corinthians 15:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15. We are told how not to fall, 2 Peter 1:10, how not to be hardened, Hebrews 3:8,13.

God can throw people out, Matthew 22:13, blot people out, Exodus 32:32-33, remove your lampstand, Revelation 2:5, sign you a place with unbelievers, Luke 12:46, and cut you off, Romans 11:19-21. We can become defiled, Hebrews 12:15. Our lamps can burn out, Matthew 25:8. We can cause ourselves to have to have Christ formed in us again, Galatians 4:19.

We are told how to remain in Jesus, John 6:56, and if we do Jesus will remain in us, John 15:4. Jesus tells us of the good if we remain in him, John 15:5, and of the bad when we do not, John 15:6. Jesus exhorts us to remain in him, John 15:9, 10, Acts 14:22, and 1 John 2:24.

Here are more warnings to obey.

2 Thessalonians 3:14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed.

2 Thessalonians 3:6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us.

1 Corinthians 4:14 I am writing this not to shame you but to warn you as my dear children.

Matthew 18:17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
