There is just one Gospel, announced by the Lord that saves men. It was first announced by him, then confirmed by those who had heard him. Heb 2:3.

Everytime you give the Bible the chance not to be interpreted by RD, STP, Must, Tam and Jerry, it does NOT SAY WHAT THEY SAY.

There are other verse that prove MAD is wrong but just like those verses they will take this one out of context and twist it until in their minds it will support MADism.

Those who say there is one gospel found in the Bible are ignorant, and do not deserve to be taken seriously.

Oh yeah?

Why don't you list and reference all the other gospels you find in the bible, then?

If you are to be taken seriously, that is . . .

Hi and here is what Heb 2:3 is saying to all those Jews !!

The first verb ESCAPE is in the FUTURE TENSE so why the FUTURE TENSE is because Israel has been set aside

and the Law of Moses is HIDDEN from the Israel as 2 Cor 3:15 a VAIL / COVERING their HEARTS and verse 16 says how an Individual Jew can be saved !!

Since you are a Greek scholar you can check and know that the FUTURE TENSE is used , there !!

There is ONLY ONE GOSPEL for today , called the MYSTERY in Rom 16:25 , and we have you again !!

The whole CONTEXT is Jewish , DON'T YOU KNOW ??

Oh, you are interested in context? Well the context is the disaster about to hit Israel in that generation called the time of unequal turmoil.

Half of them don't count because of the lazy grammar habits of the "club."

2, anyone familiar with the NT KNOWS that it is talking about the same thing but free to use slightly different words. This is an insidious error of the club--that slightly different wording means a huge fracture. These silly people do this no less than 10 verses away from Paul saying you are accursed for supporting another Gospel.

Were the Twelve preaching a gospel which declared that Christ was going to die for our sins at Luke 9:6?

If not, what were they preaching when they declared that gospel?

Yes, its the Lamb of God and the forgiveness of sins (you are supposed to put 2 and 2 together). He was given burial herbs as a newborn to be carried all through his life, etc. The gospel of Is 61 is there because of ch 53, as you might guess.

Then in the middle of the synoptic narratives, they go into denial. The zealots and Judaizers in the background of the story disenfranchise them about a slaughtered Messiah. The urge to rise against Rome was very strong. Stop doing 'theology' and know the history, the issues, the pressures, the conditions they were in. Find out why Pilate was happy to slaughter several Galileans in Lk 13 WHILE THEY PERFORMED THEIR SACRIFICES--there's a window on Judaizers, wow. Jesus INTENTIONALLY picked Galileans to be his missionaries because they really needed healing from the sickness of Judaizing. But they still had it when he started emphasizing what kind of Christ he was, and God had to hide the crucifixion from them or they would have taken violent steps to prevent it from happening, like Peter's single attempt.

Problem is: you think you have made some sort of a wise observation.

Fact is: your animosity in your ignorance; has made you even more so.

Fact is: all belong to one "club" or another.

Whether each is aware of it; or not.

And at one end of one extreme: the ignorant take offense to having it pointed out to them that theirs is "a club.".

At the other end: those pointing their finger in accusation of others as being part of some sort of "a club" too often remain just as oblivious to the equal fact that they themselves are also part of "a club."

The middle ground being the better part of wisdom that is...objective fascination with where each "side" is coming from.

"For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise" - 2 Cor. 10:12.

And: tomorrow; it will be my turn to play...the fool.

You are the one who has gone into denial by denying what is revealed in the Scriptures.

You can't suppress unless you know. They knew. They got dragged away by their original beliefs--zealot/Judaizer beliefs. Peter is the tip of the iceberg.

You are in denial of 'See the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world' and other birth announcements and the burial herbs delivered at his birth.
