Jesus died once for our sins, he lives to intercede for us...but when he comes again, we have to be ready, which means we cannot be caught sinning, because he is NOT coming to bear sin.

I'm as ready as I'll ever be for I am dead and my life is hid with Christ in GOD.

1 Thessalonians 5:2
For you are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

2 Peter 3:10
The day of the Lord will come like a thief--it will be a day on which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, the elements be destroyed in the fierce heat, and the earth and all the works of man be utterly burnt up.

Does that sound like Jesus is going to live on this earth in an earthly temple?

The Bible says it is changed.

Yep, 'allaso- changed/altered'.

In addition, some bodies have been dead so long there is no trace of their body that was, so how can you say it is a continuity with the corruptible body?

Is anything to difficult for the Lord?

Again, some people have been dead so long how do you get that when they rise they will be risen with a part of their old body?

Did the Lord Jesus resurrect with a part or all of His old body??

I did not say that; however, we do not know what we will be, just like John says.

We don't know the nature of the resurrection body.

Can you explain to me what 'spirit' is?

Do you have to say vile bodies?

Nope, don't have to.

I do not see that in the scriptures.

I do.

Right.

Again, some people have their body as ashes spread everywhere.

Yep, and some have been plumb burnt up.

Did Lazarus stink when he walked out of the tomb?

I believe in his Father’s presence.

Ubiquitous!

Jesus will return in the clouds from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise first and those alive at his coming will be changed in a twinkling of the eye and all meet Jesus in the air. Then God’s wrath will come on the earth and the unsaved will be thrown in the lake of fire. Jesus will live with us on the new earth and the kingdom will be handed over to the Father.

Though all of that will happen, I think you have the chronology wrong.

Nowhere do we hear about Jesus giving the unsaved a chance to change their mind and repent.
In fact, the Bible says that they REFUSED to repent.

He shor-nuff gave me a chance.

Revelation 16:11 and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.

Revelation 16:9 They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.

Yep! Terbul, terbul!

As you can see from the scriptures, it speaks of people not repenting. That is different than what you say.

Context and chronology matter.

There is definitely different stuff in there.

As long as Steko isn't using that word to mean wicked then it is acceptable.

Where do you ever get that tapeinosis means wicked?

ταπείνωσις
tapeinōsis
tap-i'-no-sis
From G5013; depression (in rank or feeling): - humiliation, be made low, low estate, vile.

You said God is everywhere and I know that, but Jesus said he had not returned to His Father.

You also claim chronology mistakes, but you couldn't even explain your beliefs and the chronology as I wanted to discuss it.

You said vile and that word can be used to define a wicked person.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.…

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

Romans 2:5
But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

1 Corinthians 3:13 each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work.

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.

Revelation 11:18 The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small— and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

That's true, once was enough.
You went against me before for saying that, and now you agree. It would be right for you to tell me you now agree instead of acting like you always thought that.
I have no idea where you think he is coming back from. Where is he?
The scriptures say from heaven.

Matthew 24:"Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.

Salvation will not be available during the millennial Sabbath.

Could you give the scriptures for that so we can discuss this further?

Now you know how I feel.

Maybe we should go into Dentistry together.

...but, I am not the one just saying 'nope', and 'argh' and other evasive things.

I want to establish what you believe so that I can get the mental picture of it and know what scriptures you are using.

Well, at least you are thinking of doing something with me, Dentistry.

Steko,

Here is the picture that I get about the end times, starting from the time Satan is thrown in the Lake of fire.

The devil will be thrown in the lake of fire. Jesus then will come like a thief, the earth flees, there was no place for it, and everything done in it will be laid bare, for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work, this is the great white throne judgment, wrath has come and it is the time for rewarding the saved and destroying those who are not, he comes to bring salvation for those waiting for him, we will be raised and those alive will be changed, we will meet him in the air, we will all stand before Christ and receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad, each man's work will become evident, Jesus then hands the kingdom over to the Father, there will be a new earth and the Father and Jesus will live with us.

That is what I see when we speak of Jesus coming the second time.

Could you give me a picture of your beliefs about when Jesus comes again?

I never said Jesus would be crucified multiple times, what I said was this is not the only day of salvation. Only a few will be chosen during this age.
