I'd say both, since we have the ability to use what we've learned, and continue asking/seeking wisdom/knowledge. With knowledge comes power. Jesus beckons us to keep asking, seeking, knocking. The door to continual learning and revelation is therefore ever open.

I know flimflam when I see and hear it. It is atrocious. The only reason I haven't said anything before is because of my friend pj/freelight. I think Caino is being deceitful to the highest degree, trying to use sneaky, pumped-up words to get his audience and followers. All of you, stay away. You don't know what you are getting into. It isn't heaven. You're going the wrong way. If I would have known that freelight was a party to all of this, I would have never bought him a silver membership. Yes, like believing in the Bible, Koran, Vedas, Upanishads, Sutras, Tao Te Ching or any other religious book or spiritual writing....is what it is.
Read it and find out.
Only what is subject to corruption is 'corruptible',....while what is incorruptible is not. This applies to much more than a book.

I have already read more than I want to over a number of months here and every time I do, I see word games, sneaky twisted words to mislead people. I hope you're having fun misleading tons of people away from God, not to Him. You KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. You say you belong to Hindu, and this is what we get?? Then you list a number of different religions it COULD BE?? So, then, whatever I want to say can be a religion and be accepted at TOL?? This is barbaric!

I think there is some fear based jealousy of the Urantia Papers as a consistent, coherent presentation compared to some of the outrage that people of the Bible fetish have had to swallow. Bible worshipers must resign from the common sense of their own God given intuition so they can uncomfortably accept what others are manipulating them to buy even though deep down inside they know there are problems.

Michael, the rest of us well know the utter fallacy of the Urantia nonsense. It doesn't actually blind many. There's just a concentration here at TOL because the Admin allows a free hand of expression.
That's not bad. Christians should be exposed to this junk and be able to contest it. That's why I did so for a period of time.
But there comes a point after initially exposing and refuting something, that one must go on their way and stop responding. My lack of continued contention is exactly that.
I've never had any delusions of freelight or Caino or others seeing the truth because of my posts. It was always to expose their junk for others to see.
I was actually commended by several via PM because they had no idea how to respond to freelight because he's so slickery and slimey about all subject matter. They said it was like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall, and they're glad I used the Jell-O nail gun for them to see it done.
But you're too accepting of these members and the things they say. You even came at me a few times because I was drilling them so hard.
The Urantia hoax is just that. An ellaborate illusion of revision that has no veracity whatsoever. It's a lie from the Father of lies.

That's your opinion and you know what they say about those, your biblical theology has it's own historical slight of hand show as well, and theology is just as big a racket as the new age diversions, and even though a good lawyer can weave a good defense intellectually, it is still just as much a fraud as before which is the foundation of the Jesus myth having died for your sins, repentance is fear porn and only keeps people trapped in that wheel, look how many christian have the patriot virus and defend the war mongers because they are indoctrinated, and love their masters who suck off their soul.
If biblical myth is all you have to intellectually offer than you can keep it, everyone can claim spiritual connection to this God but without walking in their shoes it's "all assumption and presumption" bluster and boast.

What would Caino do without the UB fodder? What would pj do without all those books?
Nobody has been "bookless" in their approach to this topic. So that statement stands as a monument to the self-refuting paradox of anything else that is said.

We know there are problems with false religions, attempting to pull God's Word down to the level of writings of men when in fact not one single historic, scientific or spiritual fact stated in Scripture has ever been disproved. The fact that the UB is demonic doctrine is clear and plain, that much one must admit IS the only consistent fact it makes clear repeatedly and outwardly. God's Word cannot be pulled down no matter how hard the Father of Lies might try. This work of the enemy (UB) is not unique in it's attack of God's Word although it does have the same hallmark as all others: Epic Failure. :angrymob:
