The Gospel of Reconciliation Refutes the Calvinist Doctrine of Predestination

No one has been predestinated, simply because God has ALREADY reconciled the whole world unto himself by Jesus Christ.

"God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us (Who are Christians) the word of reconciliation" (Which is the Gospel) 2 Corinthians 5:19.

"All things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation" (Which is the Gospel) 2 Corinthians 5:18.

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL OF RECONCILIATION?

The Gospel of reconciliation is that work that Jesus did in our name and on our behalf that reconciled us and the world unto God the Father. By his holy, righteous, sinless life, Jesus fulfilled every jot and tittle of God's Holy Law.

Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled" Matthew 5:18.

Jesus in our name and on our behalf, has offered to God the Father a life of perfect obedience according to his Holy Law. It was the life of Jesus that was lived for our justification, Romans 3:26. That was not enough, something had to be done about our sins and the sins of the whole world.

"For he (God) has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" 2 Corinthians 5:21.

The law has been fulfilled. Sin has been atoned for. God now sees us as perfect and complete in Jesus Christ, Colossians 2:10. When God accepted Jesus back into heaven, we were accepted in him. The question now is... Can you accept your acceptance? To accept your acceptance means that you have embraced the Gospel of Jesus Christ as your only means of salvation. This also means that you have entered into his rest.

"There remains a rest for the people of God. For he that has entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works (religion) as God did from his" Hebrews 4:9. 10.

If you are arguing that His life of obedience, while He walked the earth, in keeping the law at "100% compliance," is credited to our account, imputed, that is "vicarious law keeping," and is unbiblical.

Maybe you would like to try keeping it yourself? All that Jesus is and all that Jesus did was for us.

False teaching and handling the word of God deceitfully. This poster doesn't believe that sinners Christ died for are saved !

Get your facts straight, and stuff the emotional diatribe, Pate. You made an argument, and I am calling you on it:

If you are arguing that His life of obedience, while He walked the earth, in keeping the law at "100% compliance," is credited to our account, imputed, that is "vicarious law keeping," and is unbiblical.

And pay attention to the details of the book, a precise book. Your "All that Jesus is and all that Jesus did was for us" is amateur hour, and does NADA for your argument.

You are sloppy, lazy. My evidence? Your posts.

You don't know how you are saved?

"For as by one man's disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Christ) shall many be made righteous" Romans 5:19.

Jesus is the fulfillment and epitome of God's Holy Law, "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets" Romans 5:21.

Jesus has provided salvation for everyone, Hebrews 2:9. Some are to stupid to accept God's great free gift of salvation, Ephesians 2:8.

He provides salvation. He does not impose salvation. Heaven is not going to be full of people that have been forced to believe. If it is I don't want to be there.

Once again you nail it, saint john. We can see that the "righteousness of God" which is imputed to believers is APART FROM LAW KEEPING:

"But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ to all who believe"
(Ro.3:21-22).

The perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus was a result of keeping the law so the righteousness mentioned in those verses cannot be referring to His righteousness.

No, Robert, what you want is Phil 2:8. We're saved by His obedience to the cross, not by "keeping the Law for us."

If His perfect lawkeeping is imputed to the believer, then He would not have needed to die for us...it would have been his pre-cross life that saves. Just like the Mormons teach.

Salvation is not of works, not by anything a person does, or does not do Eph. 2:8-9.

By Christ's Obedience He made every one of His Sheep Righteous.

Rom. 5:19
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Condescending punk.

Romans 5:9 KJV is referring to His obedience by going to the cross, not by Him keeping "God's Holy Law" in our place, Pate=vicarious law keeping. That is a perversion of the gospel of Christ, and is the same trash Nang espouses. You talk like her-she talks like you.

You are both wrong. Jesus fulfilled the law for us in our name and on our behalf, just like we fulfilled it ourselves. Who do you think that Jesus fulfilled the law for, Himself?

No, He did not "fulfilled the law for us in our name and on our behalf"-made up.
Who do you think that Jesus fulfilled the law for, Himself?

No, He fulfilled the law to be the propitiation, satisfactory sacrifice-"without blemish."

Vicarious law keeping, as you espouse, is a perversion of the gospel of Christ.

Vicarious lawkeeping is one of the most subtle denials of the Cross ever devised.

Hogwash!

Jesus lived for us, Fulfilled the law for us, Died for us, and is coming again for us. All that Jesus is and all that Jesus did was for us and was for our justification. Romans 3:26.
