OT Israel never really became the church. God was ready to cast them aside several times until Moses pleaded with God. Then they continued in their lawlessness until God cast both houses of Israel away. Eventually the House of Judah came back from Babylon but the House of Israel never returned and has been dispersed among the nations to become as Gentiles. Still God says he will bring back both Houses together in the last day.

The Old Testament saved Jews were made perfect through Jesus' shed blood on the cross.

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world.

The righteous Jews who died before Jesus shed his blood, they too had to be made perfect by faith in his blood.

See Hebrews 12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,

Those who did wrong and did not believe, those who went to hell/prison after dying, they had a chance too to be made righteous through Jesus' shed blood on the cross.

1 Peter 4:6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit

Anyone who is still speaking about something special happening to those who call themselves 'Jews' are speaking nonsense.

There is nothing special going to happen to someone just because of whom they are blood related to, and because they convert to Judaism.

What don't you get about all being bound to disobedience?

See Romans 11:32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Paul sums up his teaching concerning the Jews thus

For I would not brethren that ye should be ignorant of this mystery....lest ye be wise in your own conceits

That blindness in part has happened unto Israel UNTIL the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel will be saved as it is written "there shall come out of Zion the Deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob, for this is My covenant with them when I shall take away their sins"

As concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sakes but as touching the election they are beloved for the father's sake

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

None of this good promise shall fail..

Do you have any idea about what the 'until the fulness of the gentiles comes in' means?

If so would you please share it with us?

For sure it is not when the last gentile is saved as currently taught by churches who do not glorify God...... at least not through any evidence of signs and wonders being witnessed enough by them and others so they become known as having gained the approval of a Holy God

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know

He.2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him

Who says anything about the Jews? All Israel is saved! The Jewish believers are a part of Israel as is the believing part of the House of Israel and also Gentile believers.

Romans 11:13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry

Romans 11:17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root,

Romans 11:23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Romans 11:26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

Romans 12:5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

All in Christ are one body. That Body is Israel. All grafted onto the root, natives and gentiles.

There are people who do not believe that.

As for all Israel being saved, you do realize that it does not mean every single Jew, don't you?

Correct. Also All Israel being saved is more then just Jews. Calling a Jew Israel is like calling California the whole United States. Saved are believers. Non Believers are not saved.

All those saved are Israel.

All those saved had to go through through Jesus.

If a person is not in the body of Christ, they do not have eternal life.

It does not matter if you are Jew.
If you have never trusted the Lord believing what Christ did alone for you as payment for your sins, you aren't in the Body of Christ as the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth!

The church, the Body of Christ: is not ISRAEL, but Christ's Body!

Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

Israel is likened to a tree not Christ's Body. That tree is neither standing today anymore than we are graffed into it!

GT posts that the church is the Body of Christ and then posts a verse in Hebrews! :rotfl:

Persons who cut up the Bible saying this is for the jews or this is for the gentiles are committing spiritual abortion. At the same time they denying themselves much of what could otherwise contribute to the fulness of Christ being formed in them

Those who accuse others of cutting up the Bible are an offence (Philippians 1:9-10 KJV) as they ignore the command of God to rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV).
At the same time they denying themselves much of what could otherwise contribute to the fulness of Christ being formed in them
That which is found in Romans through Philemon is written directly to us (Romans 11:13 KJV, 2 Timothy 1:13 KJV). The rest of the Bible is for us, but not to us (Romans 15:4 KJV, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV).

Rightly dividing the Word of God is not an excuse to eliminate any of the Word of God from those who seek to study the Word of God in compliance to how He teaches us to study the Bible, versus how some denominations teach their followers ...........and you need to learn the difference !!!

Rightly dividing the truth is assembling the Word of God from anywhere between Ge.1 and Re.22 line upon line (words upon words) precept upon precept (law upon law fulfilling the law of God for two or more witnesses necessary for spiritual food to be deemed acceptable to God for the edification of His children) from here a little and there a little throughout the Bible.

The reason why Paul was called a heretic before his words were discerned by anyone was because of the way he studied the scriptures. The original definition for the word "heretic described someone who takes verses out of context as in "disunion by choice" in the same manner that Isaiah 28 tells us to study the word of God that Isaiah learned from the Laws of God for discerning the truth.

BTW what do you think the little book was that John saw in the future that was sweet to the taste but bitter to the flesh if not ALL of the Word of God?

Your failure to study the word of God as He commands us to is the main reason behind why there are not signs and wonders following your ministry or others who make the same error as you do.

You learning to rightly divide the Word as according to the Word of God and not the traditions of man as taught in the doctrines that have bewitched you would be the first step you need to take towards the fulness of Christ formed in you........ that just so happens to be the high calling of our profession

Why would anyone divide the word of God?
I think we should rightly divide the word of truth.

Taking into consideration how the Word of God is always the truth, but the word of truth is not always the word of God..........

Would you please express yourself completely

Thanks in advance :thumb:

The word of God is already rightly divided. All of Paul's letters written to us are fit snugly right between that which is to Israel on both sides as if in a parenthesis.
