Ted Cruz trustworthy?

He's right in that the Trump mob who assaulted the Capitol a year ago should be held accountable and brought to justice but his reasons will be self serving. As slimy as many another politician.

I like Ted Cruz. Even if he is wrong about some things he is right about so many other things that he stands out among republicans as a champion of what is right as opposed to what is wrong with this country.
Yeah, well he sure screwed up on this one. At least now he's trying to backtrack and say he misspoke. I still say he's a rat.

Oh my. It was not the Trump mob. You Brits will fall for anything. You're fortunate to have us for friends.

How can he tell who was in the mob? If you look at those indicted, it looks like Trump supporters or anarchists only. Interviews of people in the mob were very convincing that they were lunkheads for Trump. How's a Brit to know any better?

How do you know what you know? How can you be so sure?

Because I saw all the videos, not just the ones the main stream media decided to show. I watched Capitol police inviting people into the building. Moving fences and smiling and waving them in. The main body of Trump supporters were not even close when the Antifa and BLM people were busting down doors and windows.

Okay, cool. Link some of those videos here. Marke showed me one and described it as black lives matter folks breaking in because they all wore black. I saw the video. The lighting was poor. Many had dark clothes but they were not all wearing black. In fact one them with a grey long sleeve shirt with a qanon t-shirt is well known from other videos, a definite Trump devotee.

Also, you must account for other existing video. On one side of the building, some people were acquiesced to almost cheerfully. On another they blocked, elsewhere they were misdirected.

How do you account for the 727 charged who quite uniformly admit their support for Trump?

I don't know how to link videos. But there have been plenty of people dressed up like Trump supporters that have been identified in the riots
that took place all the year before. Trump supporters do not riot. Plain and simple. You numbers are off, but it's been over a year and most are locked up without being charged. In the mean time, the actual rioters are let out of jail the next day.

It's the SWAMP. It's deep and wide.

Just cut and paste the address where you find them. Would love to look at them with you.

What happened elsewhere at other places and times is not very relevant.

Trump supporters do not riot. Plain and simple.
That is circular reasoning.

They do not riot until they do. Plain and simple.

How do you know what you think you know?

Violent anarchists and protesters should be held accountable for their actions, not just Trump supporters. Democrats encouraged leftist rioters in 2020 while they burned down businesses, assaulted cops, looted stores, destroyed property, injured and killed cops and business owners, and seized cities, taking businesses and even government offices hostage. There is no excuse for that wickedness. Those crooks should be held accountable and Americans should remove the crooked officials who refuse to uphold the law against leftist criminals. Democrats should either charge Trump supporters with sedition or turn them loose like they are supposed to do under law.
