Scriptures that show that Christs death saved a person while in unbelief !

One of the most disappointing things about religion these days, that goes in the name of christianity, and claims to believe in Christ, and what He accomplished on the Cross by suffering and dying for sin, is that it didnt guarantee no ones salvation. Im going to show that scripture declares without a shadow of doubt that Christs death, burial and resurrection saves a person even while they are unbelievers, and enemies. Even then that God himself is reconciled to them.

The first scripture is Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Thats being saved from Gods penalty of sin and received into His favor even while an enemy to God !

For peace was made for Paul, as well as other elect persons by the blood /death of Christ's cross Col 1:20-22

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

God has no wrath for a rebellious unbelieving sinner for whom Christ died lest His death was to God of no effect, God forbid !

Believers were saved by Christs death alone because by His death alone He for them, before they became believers obtained for them eternal redemption Heb 9:12

12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Verses that b57 wishes weren't in the bible because they completely falsify his entire theology!

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

Mark 6:48; "Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall"

Isaiah 5:4 What more could have been done to My vineyard
That I have not done in it?
Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes,
Did it bring forth wild grapes?

Heb 10:10.14 prove that those Christ died for are saved legally and perfectly before they believe solely by the offering of Christ which speaks to His death for them

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering/death of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

14 For by one offering/death he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

How can one be perfected and not be saved ?

Heb 10:10.14

Is not about the Body of Christ, and thus, everything after this is moot.

Yes it is the Body of Christ and its very Signiant.

Stamping your foot and demanding it to be so does not qualify as an argument.

"The Epistle to the Hebrews" was written to *gasp* the Hebrews!

Shocking, isn't it?

As far as I'm aware, neither you nor I are Hebrews...

Same book, same author, same audience....

Gal 3:13

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Christ death alone redeemed them He died for from the curse of the law, so they were saved from hell and dying in their sins before they believed.

It is an interesting tactic for those who cannot defend their doctrine to take. Simply pretend like no one ever makes any argument at all! Just pretend like those who present evidence against your doctrine do not exist and that the evidence they've presented does not exist. Just move on past it like it never happened and quote another proof text.

Notice, however, that it's only the cultists, liberals and Calvinists that do that! Jehovah Witnesses, Christian Scientists, Scientologists, Socialists, Communists, Fascists and Calvinists.

Neat group!

Christs death alone Justified many, hence acquitted them before Gods law and justice without their believing Isa 53:11

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

God is not the know it all that Calvinists make Him out to be. He is not only able and willing but actually does give men privacy. He is not required to even be a first person witness to every vile act of evil men perform, much less having to have known it in advance of time itself! He is also responsive when we cry out to him about injustice and unrighteousness...

Genesis 18: 20 And the Lord said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, 21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”

When God clears a guilty sinner of guilt, does He contradict How own word?

Numbers 14:18
The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

The only way God could clear the guilty was for Jesus to die for their sins.

God by the Death of Christ has reconciled many for whom Chrisr died, by His death even while they are being enemies/unbelievers Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Now being thus reconciled they are not under any condemnation from God even as unbelievers, Thanks solely to the Death of Christ.

No point in continuing my charity work or abstinence from drugs than...according to your POV.
Murder and adultery are just fine too...it seems.
I just can't agree with that POV.

I'm glad you included the word "believers" in your post.
That clears up some of the questions I had.

Jesus, by the grace of God, opened a door for believers.
We still must enter in, through Him.

Why did you include..."and by no means clearing the guilty", in your post?
Obviously the guilty must do something "to be cleared".
And now, thanks be to God, we can.

God does not forgive some for reasons He refuses to forgive others because that would make Him an unjust judge. He equally and justly forgives all who come to Jesus pleading for forgiveness of sins on the basis of Jesus' shed blood.
