Tam, have you ever been chased by cattle of any sort or number? Even one cow after me was quite enough!

Sure.
Usually a bull, or a heifer with a calf.

It's never wise to turn your back on critters that are hundreds of pounds bigger than you are!

Long ago, I would turn cattle. We had dogs, Border Collies, and the way I learned to do this was from a Border Collie. Being not near as fast, never was as good at turning, although being able to see the desired outcome, this was to my advantage. I loved those dogs and miss them very much!

So true, and dumber than posts. Still, they are much braver than horses would be in the same spot. :chuckle:
