Plate Tectonics. Not.

This is the show from Friday January 11th, 2013.

SUMMARY:

plate-tectonics.jpg

* RSR Interivews Dr. Walt Brown
: Real Science Radio's Bob Enyart interviews Dr. Walt Brown on the accepted dogma of plate tectonics which theory claims that the crust of the earth has broken up into many plates which allegedly subduct under each other causing earthquakes, volcanoes, and those amazing ocean trenches. None of that, however, is true.

* Many Leading Experts Agree: There is tremendous observational evidence at the ocean trenches that contradicts the subduction claims of plate tectonics. Hear from the world's leading experts on plate tectonics openly admitting the extreme contradiction between theory and reality!

* The Atlantic vs. the Pacific
: Plate tectonics theory does nothing to explain why the Pacific basin is so very different than the Atlantic, being deeper, containing almost all (16) of the ocean trenches, and holding 40,000 tablemounts, that is, submerged volcanoes at least one kilometer in height.

* Why Plates Have Not Subducted: See Dr. Brown's chapter on the Origin of Ocean Trenches, and his amazing Subduction Table 4 on the evidence against subduction. See this fascinating list of evidence falsifying the plate tectonics theory! Man's humanist alternative to God's Word is unreliable.

Today's Resource: The Hydroplate Theory & Walt Brown On the Air presents eleven 30-minute radio shows that aired on the most powerful Christian radio station in America, Denver's AM 670 KLTT! Hear Dr. Brown explain the Hydroplate Theory, and hear his great insights on the origin of the grand canyon, limestone, where the water went after the global flood, and on the theory of evolution. Hear also a Q&A session with Bob Enyart answering callers related questions. And enjoy Kevin Lea, hydroplate expert, on the origin of comets and about the frozen mammoths, earthquakes, and the origin of our 365-day year. Finally, Fred Williams and Bob present Walt's extensively researched hypothesis on the origin of Earth's radioactivity. (Oh yeah, and you'll LOVE Dr. Brown's book, In the Beginning! Gotta get that!!)

Plate Tectonics crumble: "The plates are 30 miles thick or thicker. A 30 mile thick plate cannot subduct under another 30 mile thick plate--it would create a 30 mile high cliff. The highest cliffs on Earth can get is 5 miles befreo the rock under it crush."

Ah ha, so Jefferson and Stripe are one and the same it seems!
And the funny thing is that when that person is "Jefferson" or "Stripe", his accent changes according to his persona. It's really amazing when you hear them talking the same room together.

I'll take your word for that. ;)

Is stripe still pushing this pseudoscience?

If Walt Brown were so confident in his conclusion why does he not perform an experiment and publish his results in a scientific journal? So far he offers only conjecture pitched in his book to a non-scientific target audience.

Evolutionists love to talk about anything but the evidence.

Evolutionists love to talk about anything but the evidence.

We are talking about the scientific consensus on continental formation, of which you reject. You lump this in with "evolutionists" for what is no doubt ideological reasons, not scientific ones. The only similarity between the two is that they are both accepted science of which contradict your ideological position. You want to believe in your particular literal theology but you also want to also believe in science, so therefore you must reconcile that gap between the two through some pretty amazing rationalizations, using the work of a woefully unqualified individual who holds the same intellectual dissonance as you, and has concocted some explanations that are quite the stretch for the purpose of dispelling that dissonance; even in the face of overwhelming scientific evidence, and in contrast to the whole of that scientific field.

So either the whole of the scientific field is wrong and Mr.Walt Brown is right, or there must be some international scientific conspiracy.*cue spooky music*

No, we're not.

We're talking about the many problems with PT theory from physical evidence.

Evolutionists always want to talk about anything but the evidence.

Wake us up when you're done ranting.

Or perhaps there is just a new theory that has to battle to gain acceptance in the face of irrational and strict adherence to the status quo.

Science advances by people willing to rationally investigate new ideas.

Your kind, however, react to new ideas like Dracula to sunlight.

Once again, if Mr. Brown has anything to present, conduct an experiment and publish the results in a scientific journal. That's the difference between new scientific hypotheses and quackery. What you have is quackery. You've accepted it as true before it's even undergone the scientific method and it's not science until it does so, so don't pretend to be pro-science.

Anything but discuss the evidence.

Go away, :troll:

Yup, It's as if somebody kicked a Thanksgiving Turkey--he's dropping stuffing and nonsense on this thread

I know what happens when I discuss evidence with you. You play your diversionary game, and do anything except acknowledge the evidence that I present, but if it'll shut you up here is evidence of Plate Tectonics:

-Fossil Distribution:

fosdis.gif

-Measured continental drift

-Matching Permo-Carboniferous glacial sediments

-Relative fit of continental coastlines

-Volcanic/seismic activity and plate boundaries

map_plate_tectonics_world.gif

-Cross continental Glacial striation
glacial_striations.jpg

-Polar wandering and Paleomagnetism

-Relative sea-floor age

-Gravity anomaly measurements

-Coral reefs off the coast of Antarctica

-Magnetic strips along oceanic ridges

Well, that's a start, I guess.

Now go listen to the show and address the challenges to PT.

No, you asked for the evidence, now you need to discuss it. I'll have none of your weasel games. Feel free to present any evidence of your own, but for as much as you whined about not discussing the evidence, you need to discuss it. If you don't know the evidence or the subject matter well enough to be able to produce any evidence of your own understanding to support your claims (or Walt's) then your knowledge is too feeble; send me someone who knows what he's talking about.

It's all in the show. Let us know when you've finished listening. :thumb:
