-Getting religion out of politics
-Getting bigotry out of politics
-Vaccinations
-Responsible ecological stewardship
-Getting religion out of public education
-Restoring public education to the standard set by the rest of the developed world
-Establishing solid oversight of private education and homeschooling to keep it up to the above standard
-Moving from government health insurance to government healthcare, to the standard set by the rest of the developed world
-Depowering lobbyists

in general they are those strung along by unrealistic goals and harsh judgements on "strictness" that appears to impede their freedom to run headlong into demoralizing and sometimes damning destruction

But those are the "sheep"

The leaders are out and out deceivers often enjoying the fatness of the land with armed guards and licentious consumption

Lolwut?

Why are you even answering a question not directed at you, much less doing so with such a massive set of assumptions and contradictory generalizations?

That's how I roll.
Thanx fer asking :)

Anyway what was contradictory? And am I wrong?

The Left Cost Universities welcomed the Representative of the Taliban
and listened to everything he said. Then after the war the Taliban head quarters in Afghanistan was opened for all to see..

The Taliban may have torn down statues of Buddha that were hundreds of years old for Islam - but they were living in a windowless play house for drugs and sex with kidnapped underage little girls - and everything "modern" for all that fun.

Same kind of thing was found in Communist USSR. The Left Wingers here loved the Commie Baloney that was spewed and still do. But the leaders in Moscow (and other places) had all the comforts and riches the common people were never supposed to see.

Have the "Liberals" learned?

Its not a label I use, but most on here would put me in that bracket.

Core values

  • A belief in a wider society that balances the need of individual freedoms
  • That financial power needs be controlled by the rule of law, and that the free market needs to be tempered by good government
  • That what I believe to be right and what I believe should be legal are two different things
  • That the state should be in involved things that affect us together, but out of private lives.
  • That parity in access to healthcare and education are needed to generate equality of opportunity.
  • That war is the last resort of good men.
  • That it is the role of the strong to protect the weak and not exploit them

I am so sorry Charming Manc. I love you. No, really I do.

But Rusha is over here and needs my help, or rather is going to get my attempt, anyway.

Rusha, you can agree with him because it all sounds good but what have I been trying to say?
That anything contrary to human nature is NOT (repeat NOT) something you get by being or voting or claiming "Liberal."

Pres Clinton and his wife are loved dearly and supported by many, why?
Because they are absolute Democratic leaders staunchly showing the "Believe what I say and not what I do" position. There is nothing sweeter. Who needs reality when you can have that?

Please remember TCM is actually living in a country that politically does things like "control" and tries to "balance" as well as "accepting"
and provide "equality."

Strangely he has Socialism under a Monarchy...
How do they do that?
I don't know but it is something they are making work.

Could we? I don't think you could stand either of them. (And I love you)

Why don't we start with marriage equality. What does that mean to you?

Next, getting money out of politics. Are we talking about Warren Buffett's, Bill Gates', Nancy Pelosi's, Service Employee's Union, ActBlue, NEA, FARH LLC, etc. money, or do you have someone else in mind?

PS everything I said Rusha is what Obama is trying to do - have the government be who does the control, balance, provide.

Every politician and party wishes to control people's money ... it's just a matter of whether or not you agree with how they want to spend it.

The prime purpose of government is a National Defense. Why can't I decide for myself what else I want to contribute to?

Not everyone wishes to contribute to National Defense. Why can't *they* decide for themselves what they wish to contribute to?

Simple answer. If you don't believe this country should have a national defense you don't believe in this country at all and should move elsewhere or accept being labeled as a traitor.

Sigh

I've gotta ask you - can you name one example?

We have forced health care now.
They tentatively speak of forced voting. (But unless they get more voting on their side they won't push it)

Last thing I remember like this by our government is the draft.
What cha got?
