Are you kidding? I regard everything he says and therefore do what he says.

No Im not kidding, you have no regard for the precious obedience of Christ unto death, which makes many righteous Rom 5:19. You teach that men must obey God to be made righteous, which is a lie and disrespect to Christ and God God the Father !

How do you ever get that it is disrespectful to obey Jesus?

This eternal union of Jesus christ and His body is because of election, Federal Headship Representation [ As in Adam] and because of being His seed [generation].

The only way to do away with eternal union with Jesus christ before the world began, is to deny or do away with The Preexisitence of Jesus christ before the world began. This however cannot be denied for scripture declares His Pre Exsistence as #1. The Mediator between God and Men 1 tim 2:

5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Most certainly the All Knowing and Wise God would not purpose to create a world of men , and not have Mens Mediator already set up. If not but having a High regard for Gods wisdom and prudence as in eph 1:

8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

This consideration alone necessitates the need of the GodMan Mediator, in preparation of the sin of adam and the elect in Him..

When Adam sinned, the seed of the Women [ Jesus christ] already existed in heaven..

Also as Mediator, this constituted Him the proper Medium of the Creation eph 3:

9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by [medium] Jesus Christ:

Note: Jesus christ being the medium of salvation, in no means lessens His being the Creator of the World..See Jn 1 3

Col 1:

16For by him [The Mediator Jesus christ] were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

and hence this establishes, that Jesus christ pre existed as GodMan Mediator,[pre creation ] then that also establishes the Eternal Union of the elect in him..

For a Head could not have existed without a body..

This is a Gospel Truth that only Gods True people will be able to recieve to the rejoicing of their souls..

The Gospel preached to the lost, to them it's foolishness 1 Cor 1:18

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God

This corresponds to 2Cor 4:3 where Paul writes that the Gospel is hid to them that are lost/perishing the same greek word. If a person is in a lost state tbe Gospel is hidden from them and its foolishness to them!

In the Purpose of God, when the Gospel is preached to them that are lost, its to them a savor of death unto death 2 Cor 2:15-16

15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

That word perish is vs 15 is that same greek word apollymi thats in 1 Cor 1:18 and the word lost in 2 Cor 4:3.

So Gods purpose in sending the Gospel to the Lost and perishing is so that it will be unto them a savor of death unto death meaning condemnation, its not in regard to their salvation !

Amen Brother !

Being Born of God, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, is a prerequisite to hearing / understanding the Gospel which is God's Words.

Jesus Himself Testified to this Truth:

John 8:43, 47

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear [Gr. akouō: comprehend, understand] my word.

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

1 Cor. 2:14

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Exactly ! Jn 3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Newbirth is a prerequisite to understanding the Kingdom of God. The word see here is the greek word
eidō and means:

to know, i.e. get knowledge of, understand, perceive

The Kingdom of God here that cant be understood encompasses the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His Person and Work and accomplishments. For instance its said of Paul here in Acts 28:31

Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Of Phillip Acts 8:12

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

What the Preaching of the Cross is to the natural man !

To the natural jew its a stumbling block and to the natural gentile foolishness.

1 Cor 1:23

23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness

However there is a third group which the Preaching of Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God 1 Cor 1:24

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

In the original its " them which are the called" with the definite article, these have been selected out of both the jews and gentiles.

Its the same called Paul writes of here also Rom 9:24

Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Arguing about words and trying to compare words from English and back to the Greek and then back to English is a common practice among Calvinists and others entrapped in false doctrines.

The reason preaching Christ is a sweet aroma to those who are being saved is because these people wanted more out of life than to please their flesh. They hear the message that saves and they have hope for something better.
Those who only want to live to please their flesh, the gospel is the smell of death to them because the gospel message is about giving up the sins they love to do to please their flesh.

Those who are saved heard first and were not made to hear and be saved.

There are people on the side of truth; there are people who want more out of this life than to please their flesh; a person can obey Jesus and change and then be saved; Paul was a man who was violent, and it didn't bother him to see people ripped from their homes, put in dungeons, tortured and killed. Yet, Paul changed himself by believing in Jesus and doing what Jesus said to do. God wants all to repent and to come to a knowledge of the truth. You believe in things that are just not there in the scriptures.

This third group 1 Cor. 1:24 is Christ's Church, the called out ones [ekklēsía]; Christ's Sheep He calls by name, that shall hear His Voice:

John 10:3
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

For their names, God's Elect, Chosen in union with Christ [jew and gentile], have been written in His Lamb's Book of Life Rev. 13:8.

Rom. 9:23-24
23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Rom. 9:11
(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth)

So the preaching of the Cross for the Redemption of all God's Elect exclusively, according to God's Eternal Purpose Eph. 3:11 shall remain a Mystery to the natural man.
