There are some things that Jesus said using one of these terms that is limited to Israel. In Mt 5, the inheriting of the 'gea' is because in that generation to avoid conflict with Rome would have saved the place. Some of these are in Mt 24A about the DofJ.

But 'kosmos' is used for world as early as Jn 3 which is way before mid-Acts which is MAD, I mean, madness. God loved the 'kosmos' in 3 and provided a sacrifice which satisfied divine justice. The 'kosmos' was made through the Word, but the 'kosmos' did not receive him, ch 1. Obviously, 'kosmos' in these is wider than Israel.

I'm point this out because the entire world-wide breadth of the Gospel is declared to be the purpose of Christ on earth and early in His ministry.

MAD is phantom and madness and nowhere, rather than now here.

No, didn't say that, and it will help to stick with John because it's Jn 3 that puts the salvation of the world from its sin debt as early as ch 3.

sounds good go back up to the o.p. and edit out all of the slur’s about MAD,scratch out Matt. and just go with John 3:16 KJV ,,,,It wouldn’t make sense to mix something like our saviour being known from the foundation(things known) with things not known and revealed to Paul(not known) anyway...

The scapegoat takes away the sins, not the goat that was slain.
Try to learn to think, as you review Leviticus, Lamont.

Are you the scapegoat, the sins or the goat?

Jn 3 says there is the Gospel already being preached to Nic that Paul preached. While doing that he used the word 'kosmos' to refer to the targeted group for the Gospel. The whole world. Not 'gea' which was often used just about Israel's issues. Because of these FACTS, MAD is lunacy. Because it says there are 2 programs, 2 gospels, 2 places where the NT satrts with its new era, etc.

And now look what they still do: try to squeeze out a 2nd Gospel out of Gal 2, just a few verses after Paul declared anathema on anyone doing so. Brilliant.

That is not true. The gospel which Paul preached to the Gentiles is the gospel of grace. There is not one word about this grace at John 3.

Nor did there need to be be. Nicodemus knew Christ brought Israel out of Egypt by grace.

Not true. He not only did not believe Jesus was the Christ but was clueless about what He was talking about; though he should have known:

John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

The proper response was...

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Instead, he viewed Christ as mentioned in verse 14, below.

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Even his coming to Him at night speaks volumes against him.

Christ even tells him Who He is and he still doesn't get it.

Here's what I said, "Nicodemus knew Christ brought Israel out of Egypt by grace."

How did he know? Because he observed an annual celebration that is still observed by many to this day.

Exodus 12:42 It is a night of solemn observance to the LORD for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the LORD, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.

This observance had nothing to do with Jesus being the Christ, it had to do with deliverance from Egypt by grace.

Deliverance from Egypt by grace.

Yes, Deuteronomy has a famous passage about them being blessed in spite of what they were, but merely because of love.

KOSMOS may have been used by the writer of the 4th Gospel because he understood that salvation extended beyond the Jewish Israelite who occupied the "land." In this regard, it's interesting to note that the writer of the 4th Gospel recognizes both the Samaritans and the Greeks as fellow Israelites (John 4:9, 12, 20; John 7:35) but doesn't mention any uncircumcised "gentiles."

Does it mention circumcision at all?
