I don't understand why you are using a parable to prove that Romans 6:23 is not true.

Rom 6:23**For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The wages of sin is death, not torment. Jesus agrees with Romans 6:23 because He said in Luke 13:3 "Unless you repent, you will likewise perish."

I don't understand why you insist on arguing against what the Bible says. John 3:16 sums up the gospel message very well. Whoever accepts Jesus Christ will inherit eternal life and whoever rejects Jesus Christ will perish. Why don't you give up your false idea of eternal torture in hell and accept what Jesus Christ says?

Nothing is more illogical than ECT, and worse of all, it denigrates the goodness, grace and wisdom of God. It is most illogical to love, and inimical to life. It is doctrines like this that drive people away from 'God'.

Also there are accounts of Adam & Eve not being the first humans on earth, since native populations existed from which Cain got his wife .....and the plot gets thicker from there oly: The Bible is not the only source for the history of mankind, as other records and dispensations have been granted.

In any event I doubt A & E would believe in eternal hellfire, a belief which evolved later from primitive fears and superstition, then further impressed by figurative language.

The law of karma by itself takes care of all actions, so that all souls only suffer equal to the severity of their sins, so everyone reaps what they sow, the eternal law being wholly equitable, while the reaping of life and blessings always exist as long as a soul is able to repent. The law of free will holds here and the consequences for what one chooses. Life or death, and every variation therein exists for one's free will choosing.

Exhibit A: The Serpent
The Serpent is incontrovertibly Satan, who fell from the Heavens and whom was cursed to crawl through the dust of the Earth.

Exhibit B: The Dust of the Earth
We were created, and therefore are, the dust of the Earth- and the Serpent crawls among us.

Exhibit C: The Forbidden Fruit
Fruits are produced from the actions of people. You will know them by their fruit.

Exhibit D: The Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is undoubtedly Christ- a carpenter who built his cross, is the Vine, and whom produces good fruit.

There's more, but do you see what I am saying? The entire story is a mass of symbols.
