Jesus Christ as Saviour !

Indeed, He is the savior of ALL MEN... particularly those that believe. :thumb:

So what does particularly mean ?

It means this:

so as to give special emphasis to a point; specifically.

So especially is an adverb that modifies or qualifies a statement ! So it would be error to take the statement "Hes the Saviour of all men" as a blanket statement without recognizing the qualification God gives !

It is not error to take Christ as the Savior of all men;

1 John 2:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Christ came to seek and to save that which was lost ! Lk 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

This defines the work of Christ the Saviour

Now of course this presupposes that prior to Christ coming to seek and to save individuals they are in a state of being lost. All men naturally are lost, estranged from God, alienated from God, however do they which Christ came to seek and TO SAVE remain Lost ? The answer is no, for that would contradict the work of a Saviour. So did Christ come to seek and to save they which will be ultimately lost in their sins on the last day, in the final Judgment ? The answer is NO ! And to say that Christ is the Saviour of such is an attack on Christ as a Savior of lost men ! Christ came to save His People from their sins, but false teachers would tell us Christ doesn't save some people whom He came to save because of their sins, even the sin of unbelief. What is unbelief but sinfulness and disobedience ?

Perfectly stated !

Jesus Christ as Saviour came to Save a Specific People Mat. 1:21: HIS PEOPLE.

And HIS PEOPLE are not all people in the world without exception; but those of distinction Chosen of the Father In Union with Christ to be Holy and without blame before Him in Love Eph. 1:3-4: Jews as well as Gentiles.

Jesus prayed for them exclusively:

John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Jesus Christ for them doesn't merely make it possible, but absolutely Saves ALL He came to Seek and to Save !

Now all the rest of the people in the world are the children of the devil.

These are Lost permanently. Hence, they weren't any Jesus Christ came to seek and save as He told some Jews:

John 8:44 ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

BTW, many here do not understand that the Greek word "PAS" in 1 Tim. 4:10 doesn't mean all men without exception; but can simply mean "some of all types", https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=G3956&t=KJV, i.e jews as well as gentiles, as it would strictly apply to All the Lost Ones whom Christ is a Saviour to; all His Sheep He came to Seek and to Save that He Gave His Life for John 10:11, 15 !

Amen Sister, they wilfully reject that definition for pas because it exposes their error. Thank you for your testimony !

The Promise of God was never that He would save all humanity without exception, but a particular world of Individuals called Israel. Isa 45:17

But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Israel here in Isa 45:17 doesnt mean ethnic jews, though some of them are included, but its speaking about Gods Elect from all nations and kindreds and peoples and tongues. Its nothing other than the Church, the Body of Christ, the Saviour of His People.

Amen to both parts !

This World of individuals called Israel, consists of a Spiritual Seed / People that Christ Jesus Saved from their sins Mat. 1:21; of all ethnicities, both jew and gentile: God's Chosen People In Union with Christ Eph. 1:4-5. Together, they comprise the Body of Christ, for His Name is Israel Is. 42:1; 49:1-3, and so is the Name of His Seed that God Promised to Save Is. 45:17 !

So NO, God never promised to save all humanity without exception; but a Particular or Peculiar People, Christ's Possession !

1 Pet. 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Gal. 3:16, 29

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Salvation is premised upon Gods Promise, and Christ was the fulfillment of that Promise, and for this cause He was raised according to Promise a Saviour unto who ? What does this scripture say ? Acts 13:23

Correct since Christ is Israel Isa 49:1-3 and He and His Church are One Flesh Eph 5:30-32

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The Church is the Body of Israel !

You are WRONG! Christ is the head of the body, the church. The church is the body of Christ

Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

God discriminately Chose a Seed Eph. 1:4 in His Son Israel Is. 42:1, a Chosen People called after His namesake, from all the rest of humanity [devil's children John 8:44; Mat. 13:38], to inherit Salvation Is. 45:17 and would come to exist in time; not based upon ethnicity, but according to His Promise Acts 13:23 !

Rom. 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Deut. 7:6-7

6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

Mat. 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people [Israel] from their sins

Is. 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
