What would you tell this individual? Would you tell them to 'go for it' and be supportive or would you look at them and ask them if they've lost their mind?
So according to Chris Rock, Minnesota has no black people left.
ABC has canceled Roseanne.
The move comes after series star Roseanne Barr made a comment on Twitter Tuesday morning referring to former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett as looking like the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.” Jarrett, an African-American, was born in Iran to American parents.
“Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement.
Wow! The turnaround on that was fast
Awesome! Her firing ... that is ...

Waiting for Trump to tweet his condolences...
Considering the *outrage* over the NFL players kneeling in support against RACIAL VIOLENCE, I found it rather odd that Roseanne's attack on patriotism was conveniently forgotten. Roseanne and her 1990 National Anthem Debacle ...
Personally, I disagree with the firing of Roseanne Barr.
Racism is an institutionalized phenomenon here in the U.S.
Meaning, that even people who one might normally take as being anything BUT "a racist," are bound to sooner or later spit out some of this institutionalized racism within contexts that end up context markers - those moments that set off this deeply institutionalized racism so embedded in the average American as a result of our (continuing) history.
Though we are from alone in that.
Anyone who has traveled abroad is well aware of this.
Roseanne Barr's was merely an instance that many Americans - regardless of race - every so often end up momentarily expressing.
Sometimes out of anger, or what have you.
Other times, while actually meaning well.
Doesn't make what she said in that moment of passion right.
But she did apologize for it, and her apology appeared just as passionate.
Anyway, the following youtube link reveals who Roseanne Barr is - a proud American who is very passionate about many forms of injustice.
Excuse the brown-nose reporter.
Rom. 5:6-8 towards ya, Roseanne Barr.
And I, for one, am still a fan.
I understand you're a fan, and she's spoken out on some good causes, but these things above (for me) overshadow them. I didn't watch the first Roseanne or the reboot, I've never been a fan. Maybe I've missed something by not watching, but I don't think I have.
I used to be a fan of her old show for the simple fact that it was hilarious. However, I was so disgusted after reading about her support of Trump and then seeing how she dragged it into her show that the cancellation doesn't bother me at all. As a matter of fact, this is step in the right direction for our country. Finally, a major network is standing up for DECENCY and sending the message "hatred, racism and bigotry is not okay".
I was reading the reaction over at Breitbart. Pretty predictable... the usual racist comments - but one comment said ABC's action was (paraphrased) a act against Trump and against God.
I am sure they will get over their devastation. I already have.

Interestingly enough, I was just reading suggestions that "Roseanne" go on ... Roseanne-less. In the same way that "Valerie" killed off the star and namesake of the show and became "The Hogan's Family". I would love to see ABC do something like this ... as a way to reward the actors and fans who wish to see the show go on. It could work. They could cast someone like ... Melissa McCarthy ... hilarious actress, minus the baggage. Could you imagine her stepping in as the new step-monster?
