What is your opinion of DfQ and how did you come to that?
I've disliked him ever since he became very popular in the early '80s. Big city billionaire playboy left wing liberal icon. He was on all the magazine covers, all the talk shows, morning noon and night, did advertising, professional wrestling, had his very successful television show for 6 years, went on the Howard Stern radio show 24 times, hosted SNL twice. You can find clips of him going on The View and getting big hugs and kisses on his cheek from Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg. And then came September 15th 2016, the famous tousle heard around the world, when the switch flipped and all the cult members of the left were told to hate him. Jimmy Fallon didn't get the message and he was nearly excoriated for his role in "humanizing" Trump. I wasn't really paying attention back then, I was disgusted with the Republican party for letting this man win the nomination. I didn't start to come around until the first impeachment. That was when I started waking up and paying attention to the disparity between what the left was saying and what Trump had been doing and was continuing to do. And then of course we have the rigged election of 2020 when a man who wouldn't be elected dog catcher won more votes than even Barack Obama, and the continuing attempts by the left to destroy him during Biden's administration. And then we have the aftermath of the Trump/Biden debate, in which the left in a desperate and ultimately futile attempt to drag the rotting corpse of the Harris campaign across the finish line, during which they didn't even try to pretend that the mainstream media was a propaganda arm of the Democratic party.
My warming up to Trump in this second administration is more a reaction to my absolute hatred for the dishonesty and corruptness of the Democrat party than it is to a love of the man and his personality.
