Then ponder what this would do to your theory that is if it was not finished until right before ad66 and you want to link it to the scripture in Revelation then Revelation was not written until after ad66 right?

Wow....you are really desperate.

The Revelation was written before 66AD.

Just because a third wall wasn't mentioned in the Revelation, doesn't mean the Revelation was written after 66AD.

Rev 16 speaks of blood in the sea and river. You should read Josephus' description of the blood and bodies in the Sea of Galilee and Jordan River during the Jewish War from 66AD to 70AD.

ask yourself

You should ask yourself why nowhere in the Bible is there a peep about a third temple being built after the Second Temple was completely destroyed in 70AD.

Now think about what you are saying and ask yourself are they afraid of the stones? Then read the 3rd paragraph in chapter 6,book 5 ,,,"notice they were NOT AFRAID of the stones"?

They weren't afraid of the stones at first because they were painted white, and were catapulted at them during the day.

When the Romans stopped painting them white, and catapulted the stones at them at night, it was a different story.

(John 2:20) They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?”

It was 46 years at that point.

The Temple was still being constructed during the days of Jesus, and continued being constructed up until 66AD.

Desperate, Your the one taking bits and pieces of Revelation and Josephus/wars book5,chapter 6 and trying to match it to Revelation 16:21 KJV to answer R.D. right?

Continue right on but somebody actually might point out to you that in that part of Josephus/wars book 5.6 the Jews didn’t blasphemy God,they weren’t even afraid of the stones and then read on down to where the assault was halted because it wasn’t working.

I have the sense you already know all this but hope none will read it(you left out the links for your quote) so I gave it to you and the others both so they could read it for themselves and determine if it actually matches Revelation 16:21 KJV ,,,sorry if it don’t work out for you.

Keep reading:

"But the Romans contrived how to prevent that, by blacking the stone: who then could aim at them with success, when the stone was not discerned beforehand, as it had been till then: and so they destroyed many of them at one blow. "

(Rev 16:4)The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.

Here is what Josephus wrote:

"because not only the whole country through which they fled was filled with slaughter, and Jordan could not be passed over, by reason of the dead bodies that were in it, but because the lake Asphaltiris was also full of dead bodies, that were carried down into it by the river."
- War of the Jews 4.7.6

"one might then see the lake all bloody, and full of dead bodies, for not one of them escaped." - War of the Jews 3.10.9

" insomuch that the sea was bloody a long way, and the maritime parts were full of dead bodies;" - War of the Jews 3.9.3

(Rev 16:14) They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

This time we turn to the Roman historian Tacitus:

"With a smiling expression and surrounded by an expectant crowd of bystanders, he [Vespasian] did what was asked. Instantly the cripple recovered the use of his hand and the light of day dawned again upon his blind companion. Both incidents are still vouched for by eye-witnesses, though there is now nothing to be gained by lying." - Tacitus, Histories, 4.81

  • No mention of blaspheming God.
  • No mention of fear.
Boy, you really know how to respond with a "convincing argument". NOT!

Try reading the Old Testament.

In the OT, "the day of the Lord" was always judgment. And each time, the judgment was an army invading the country God was judging.

That's what happened in 70AD when the Roman army invaded Judaea. God's judgment came upon the Jews in Judaea. Jerusalem was destroyed, over a million Jews were killed, and not one stone was left standing upon another at the temple.

Every thing happened exactly how Jesus said it would happen.

Believe it or not, I don't care.

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

I'm really enjoying your FALLACIOUS reasoning.

The "day of the LORD" is a SINGULAR judgement and does NOT have to be like any judgment before it.

It's not like any of the "each time" judgments that your're trying to CONFLATE with it.

But you gotta support your fairy tale so it makes complete sense that you jettison truth and tell lies.
