I just read several 2016 Presidential election articles, and I found them quite interesting. One article said that 1,711 candidates have filed their intentions to run for POTUS. The first challenge is to get on enough state ballots to have any impact. The most successful third party candidates in previous election cycles won 1% of the vote. A goal for each voter should be to vote for someone who has a chance to win. Otherwise, their vote will probably help the Democratic nominee.

I don't know what Trump would say but it's not necessarily a double standard. The rationale could be that it is Mexico's people causing the problem so they should take some responsibility for solving it. What Trump has complained about is the US bearing a disproportionate share of funding for security for other countries for problems that have no connection with the US.

Mexico has no obligation to hold their citizens in if they don't want to. It's up to us to let them in or keep them out.
