Well, the decision to ban certain news outlets from the WH was rightfully - albeit temporarily overturned - by judge Timothy Kelly (a Trump appointee no less)...
"In his decision to provisionally lift the ban, U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly ordered the White House to “immediately return, reinstate, and restore” the three outlets’ access. He said they had met the legal thresholds to obtain a temporary restraining order and were likely to succeed in showing that their press passes were revoked without due process. Kelly — whom Trump nominated in 2017 and who ordered a CNN journalist’s access restored in a similar case in 2018 — said the government must have clear standards for conduct that would lead to revoking a press pass. He called the standard of objectionable reporting outlined in letters that the White House sent the outlets “so vague it hardly does the trick.”

It's little wonder that Trump gets flustered by Kaitlin Collins so much. She's intelligent and sharp, two attributes he assuredly doesn't possess...Waltz won't like her much either I suspect:
Collins then asked Waltz why Trump was citing national security reasons for banning reporters. Waltz pointed to news reports that discussed the levels of ammunition the U.S. has as an example.
"When we have outlets that are relying on anonymous sources and talking about the levels of ammunition we have in the middle of conflict, when we're talking about vulnerabilities that the United States have, when in fact, we're talking about deployment orders for our soldiers, our navy, our air force that are highly classified," he said. "That's absolutely a national security threat and should be investigated and prosecuted."
Collins fact-checked Waltz, saying the munitions reports came from the Pentagon's inspector general.
"Well, that's not what the President cited when he banned CNN and the two other outlets.But on the munitions. That was in the inspector general's report from the Pentagon, talking about shortages," she said.
"I mean that is legally obligated to give that report to Congress, right?" she added.
Waltz appeared flustered by the fact check, reiterating that reports about ammunition shortages are a threat to national security.

So, Trump launches a furious attack on *Truth Social* blasting news outlets for not covering his meeting with Xi Jinping:
“CNN and MSDNC, to show you how fake they are, today refused to cover one of the Biggest and Most Beautiful Events to take place in many years, the arrival at the White House of the Highly Respected President of China, Xi Jinping, and his beautiful wife, Madam Peng,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
“The event was magnificent — Actually made for Television but, because they’re Fake News, and because they knew how good it would be, they didn’t want credit to be given to ‘TRUMP,’ they refused to be there,” he continued.
One slight problem with his latest unhinged rant - despite the ruling from judge Timothy Kelly - the ones he'd banned still weren't allowed in the WH. Can't make this stuff up...
Journalists working for the outlets were not allowed back onto the White House grounds until after noon Thursday.
