True. Although I don't think he held onto what Paul said and will then be faced with I never knew you.
If one says they were saved by the Grace Message and then, reject Paul's Gospel and turns to Mysticism, cultism, Atheism, etc, in my opinion, they were never sealed, indwelt, and baptized into the Body of Christ.
Paul states in: 1 Corinthians 15:2: "By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain."
There are those who may have heard Paul's Gospel and, at the time, may have intellectual acceptance of it however, they never were truly sealed, indwelt, and baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ. If they had been, would they, some time later, reject the Message and Christ?
