I love GoT because it is dark, ruthless, and serious. It is immune to any moral criticism in that it stands alone and justifies itself- just pointing that out because there's been controversy about it and people love to attack the best of things.
Anyway, I just watched the 1st episode of this season, and it's taking a mighty turn away from politics right into a punishing religious inquisition.
