False Christian teachers

The proliferation of social media has given false teachers such a power platform to teach their false doctrines and lies to the world. It really saddens me to see such people just blatantly lie and make up stuff from the Bible.

2 Timothy 4:3-4
3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound[a] teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

This false teacher really believes what he is espousing.

Many so-called "Christians" say, "It doesn't matter who you love". To which I say, "But it does matter who you have sex with". You should love everyone, but not have sex with them all.
I'll say the following to Christians who want some sins to not be sins, "Replace 'homosexual' with 'adulterer' or 'drunkard'. Would you tell an alcoholic to embrace their alcoholism? Would you tell an adulterer that it's ok the he or she is cheating on their spouse since they are born that way? Of course not. That would be ridiculous."

Being a homosexual is no different than being a thief, liar, adulterer, etc. when it comes to being found a sinner. However, claiming that stealing, adultery, fornication, or homosexuality is not a sin, is evidence of someone who has rejected the sacrifice of Jesus for their sin, and they are not saved.

All believers, no matter what they "were" have been sanctified (1 Cor 1:2; 1 Cor 6:11; Heb 2;11; Heb 10:10), and are the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21) holy and blameless (Col 1:22; Eph 1:4) complete (Col 2:10) and perfected forever (Heb 10:14).

Homosexuals, like any other person, who are dead in sin and in need of life, are saved when they repent of their unbelief and believe the Gospel, without exception.

No one in Christ perfects their flesh, nor does anyone in Christ ever perfect their behavior, and if we were still judged by the Law we would all be found guilty. Thankfully, for ALL of us (no matter what your attraction or behavior) there is no more condemnation for those in Christ. We all fail.

But again, if anyone claims that homosexuality, adultery, lying, or coveting is not a sin, then they prove themselves to have rejected the Gospel., and they are not in Christ.

Sin is the evidence that something is wrong (you are dead and need life). If you remove that from the equation, through tolerance, acceptance, or "hearty approval" of a behavior, lifestyle or false identity, you are, in fact, hating your neighbor, not loving them.

Jesus loved the sinner, and He shared a meal with them, hugged them, and healed them. He did not condemn the woman caught in adultery, but He also would not give her a morning after pill. Jesus loves homosexuals, and those who are confused about their gender, but he would not buy a man a dress, or celebrate a same-sex wedding.

Jesus never tolerates sin, He died for it. ALL of it.

Both theirs and mine.

He who breaks any of the commandments is guilty of breaking them all. Seems tome I have seen that some where in scripture.

Let he who is without sin cast the first rock.

:deadhorse:

Been through this so many times already, I'll just tell you to go find the posts where it's been discussed before.

Judge not............

Directed at hypocrites, not everyone.

Read the whole verse next time.

"Judge not . . . you hypocrite . . . first cast out the beam from your own eye, so that you can see the mote in your brother's eye."

I posted before that I sin so your word of calling me a hypocrite are false like your theology. I forgive you JR. Maybe God will also.

I am only just a sinner Are you a sinner?

I'm not a sinner.
I'm more than a conquerer.
Because of Jesus.

I posted before that I sin so your word of calling me a hypocrite are false like your theology.

You're a hypocrite for judging me (and others) by telling us to not judge.

Don't be a hypocrite.

I forgive you JR.

I don't want your forgiveness.

I want you to recognize that you're being a hypocrite by telling me you forgive me, because in order to forgive you must first judge something to be requiring of forgiveness. You cannot forgive without first judging.

Don't be a hypocrite.

Maybe God will also.

He already did, once and for all.

That depends on if they're involved in the political movement that leads others into sin, i.e. the LGBT movement and their 'gay agenda'. Jesus has a few words to say to those people: Matthew 18:6.

Wow, you really don't have a clue about anything, do you? When Jesus said that, he was actually speaking about people like you. Those who put their trust in their behavior to be right with God. Again, you are the Pharisee in the temple. You have a massive beam in your own eye, all the while judging those with tiny specks in theirs. You don't know Jesus from Adam, and you have never repented. You have never believed the gospel.

(Sigh, my bestest friend in the whoooole wide world is angry at me again). So identifying with a political movement that dresses little boys up in drag has nothing to do with Matthew 18:6?

Those homosexuals likez em young don't they?

Conflating morality with righteousness is evidence that you have never believed the gospel. Everyone and anyone can choose to be moral or immoral, but only those who believe the gospel can become righteous, by grace through faith. A humble person understands that ALL fall short of the glory of God and look to God's grace and mercy for salvation. The proud man (you) compares himself with others and says "I'm not as evil as my neighbor". Again, you are the Pharisee in the temple, and God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Your posts are interesting because I usually find myself both agreeing but at the same time feeling like some of your comments need clarification. The truth of what you say really depends a lot on the context and just precisely what is being discussed. For example, you said...
"The proud man (you) compares himself with others and says "I'm not as evil as my neighbor". Again, you are the Pharisee in the temple, and God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

In the context of your post, the context of salvation and righteousness before God, that is a true statement but it could easily be taken too far. It may well be true that someone happens to be "not as evil as their neighbor" and it would not be a sin to notice that fact nor would it be a sin to point it out, depending on why it's being pointed out.

You said in an earlier post....
"Being a homosexual is no different than being a thief, liar, adulterer, etc. when it comes to being found a sinner."

...and again, because of the last eight words of that sentence, I agree, but holy molly can such a statement be taken to mean something that isn't true at all. All sins are not the same and homosexuality is far far worse than stealing a tic-tac from your mother's purse (or stealing any else for that matter).

Would you agree?

Also, I'm curious to know something else as well. This is off the topic so you don't have to elaborate much but what do you believe the law (i.e. the law of the land, the criminal code) should be regarding things the bible considers capital crimes (e.g. murder, rape, adultery, homosexuality, et al)?
