What does that have to do with the subject of this thread.

Now please allow me toask you acouple of simple questions. Have Christians been given eternal life? If your answer is "yes" then do you believe that those who have been given eternal life can perish?

Those who sleep are alive, just not conscious.

Souls exist apart from the body:

Mat_10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.



Conscious bodiless souls cry out:

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

In other words, you take the fifth on the grounds that your answer will reveal to everyone that you think that the Lord Jesus was in error when He said that those to whom He gives eternal life shall never perish.
